Another Day In Heaven

Another Day In Heaven

(Hebrews 12_14 NKJV).png

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14 NKJV)

This Scripture tells us to pursue peace and holiness. Can you imagine how this world would be if everyone living on the surface of this earth was pursuing holiness and peace. The earth would be a very peaceful and loving place.

Can you imagine if we all love one another and no one, tribe or race is trying to take advantage of others. If there were no predators, beneficiaries and victims. Just imagine how this world would have been. Man’s lawlessness, immorality, greed and wickedness is what has impaired the earth and hijacked man’s destiny.

The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small– and for destroying those who destroy the earth.” Revelation 11:18

Thankfully, there is another day. There is another day for believers in heaven where those who have religiously perverted and impaired the earth will not have the opportunity to break in and pollute.

May we not forget that our destination is heaven regardless of our trials and difficulties here on earth. May we all look forward to that glorious day in heaven.

Stamp Of Approval

Stamp Of Approval

Exodus 33_ 15-16 NIV.png

The Glory Of God

Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” Exodus 33: 15-16 NIV

For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” Exodus 33:16

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is a stamp of approval. By anointing you with power and glory, God is saying that you are His messenger and vessel. He is also saying that He is with you and is pleased with you. If we examine the Scriptures above closely, we will see that Moses is saying that God’s manifest presence accompanying them is evidence that they have found grace or favor in His sight.

The anointing shows that God is pleased with the anointed vessel. It is not everyone that can carry God’s manifest presence. God’s anointing is not for those who are selfish, greedy, drunk, covetous and hurtful. It is for the compassionate and selfless.

We cannot have it both ways. It is either we are for God or not for God. We cannot yield our flesh to evil, sin, laziness, idleness, and lukewarmness and expect the miraculous – there is no wisdom in that kind of mentality and those who persist in such error open themselves up to deception and demonic power. We are not greater that our master, Jesus – God requires cleanliness, dedication and purity before His manifest presence can rest upon us.

The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14 NIV

The LORD replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest–everything will be fine for you.” Exodus 33:14 New Living Translation

It is only the vessels of honor who have cleansed themselves that get clothed with the manifest presence of God. Jesus, Moses and Paul were well known vessels of honor. No one can deny that God was very pleased with them. They found favor and grace in God’s sight.

And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17

May we seek to please God always and may God be pleased with us.

Politeness Goes Hand In Hand With Wisdom

Politeness Goes Hand In Hand With Wisdom

politeness goes hand in hand with wisdom. (1).png

Revelations And Messages 12

I was lying down on my bed some months ago, and the Lord spoke to me and said, “ politeness goes hand in hand with wisdom.”

Let us consider this word. Is there really any wisdom in being rude and evil with our tongues? The obvious answer is no, yet a lot of people I know go around, causing so much havoc and destruction with their tongues.

Whatever we desire in this life is what we will get, particularly in the area of grace and spiritual blessings – if we love and desire evil communication and unwholesome words, we will simply continue in it because, believe it or not, the person who engages in it, gets some perverse pleasure in it. Sometimes, it makes them feel superior to those they assault with their tongues and abuse, or it might just be a case of “I simply don’t care how others feel.” In either case, the flesh is being glorified.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

We need to starve and deny the flesh by making sure our words impart grace, love, encouragement and support to those we speak to. Our words need to build up, comfort, soothe, heal and refresh, not tear down, humiliate, belittle, ravage and torment others.

I have a friend who is not a believer. From the day I met him, some years ago, I have never heard him say any negative thing to me or about others. He was unbelievable in the area of using his tongue wisely. I took it for granted that, that is just his character and I would often tell my other friends that I have this friend who never ever says any bad, negative or evil words to me or about anyone else.

Then, very recently we were talking, and he said to me, “I will never ever use this my mouth to say anything to anyone that will hurt that person. How can I say something to someone, that after I have said it, the person will keep remembering it with pain, and the words will keep tormenting that person? What will I gain from that? I will never do that.” He said it with so much resolve, conviction, passion and determination.

My mind boggled and my eyes became wide with shock. I had a strange look on my face as I looked at him keenly, and digested this new information. That was when I realized that he had put on that character on purpose, and with perfect awareness – it did not fall on him very easily or casually. He craved it.

I had simply assumed that it was just him, but I never knew that not hurting people with his tongue was a practice, and a discipline that he had carefully thought through and resolved within himself never to do. He desired it and God gave him the grace even though he is not a believer.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6

Do you get what I am trying to say? There is power in hunger, desire, passion and will power and God oversees that hunger or desire in all of creation. Beloved, if an unbeliever could desire that level of tongue purity and God would give it to him, how then will God deny you that grace? You who has been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb with the Holy Spirit as your helper. That man desired the children’s food and he got it. Some requests are not vocalized in prayer – they are simply unspoken requests and desires.

Faith is not all about physical blessings. The best faith is the one that regards spiritual blessings. Sometimes, an unbeliever can exhibit faith in specific commands or instructions but because they do not believe in Jesus and His precious blood that saved us, they remain unbelievers. They do not believe in Christianity but they take parts of the teachings on morality and practice it.

Most religions do this. God gave this man a tamed and sanctified tongue in the area of politeness and not hurting people with the tongue. His tongue is not even saved because he has not confessed that Jesus alone is Lord.

He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

“Yes, it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” Then, Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment. Mark 15:26-28

This man got part of the children’s food or grace just like the woman whose daughter was sick. Will God deny you that grace? No. The bitter truth is that anyone who goes around being rude and causing havoc with his tongue does not care about sanctifying his tongue. He has no hunger, passion or desire for grace in that area and does not desire it either in the prayer closet or out of the prayer closet.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

If we desire sanctified tongues and are humble enough to persistently ask for that grace, God will meet our needs. He gives grace to the humble and resists the proud. If we say that we are perfect and lack nothing without seeing a part of our nakedness, we will remain the same – partially or completely naked.

We will remain the same because we do not even see the need to change. We do not even know that we are partially or completely naked. That is just like spiritual insanity. In the physical, an insane man does not know or recognize his insanity. He is not aware because he is mentally unconscious. A lot of us are not spiritually aware. We are asleep.

This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Ephesians 5:14

May we truly hunger and thirst for righteousness including the sanctification of our tongues in Jesus name. May we be healed from every spiritual insanity and unconsciousness, lack of awareness and nakedness in Jesus name.

Does God Know You By Name?

Does God Know You By Name?

[ The Promise of God’s Presence ] Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ Exodus 33:12

God knows your name but does he know you by name? Do we really know what it means for God to know us by name and for us to find grace in His sight. If only we can strive and pray, putting on the whole armor of God, to get to that place of intimate fellowship and friendship with God. I mean real true genuine friendship, where two people bask in their love and fondness for one another. This friendship incorporates true love that involves, loyalty, commitment, dedication, selflessness and sacrifice. This type of love always strives and hungers to please the beloved regardless of any other thing and above all else.

Moses was a friend of God and God showed Him secrets, defended Him even from His siblings, Aaron and Miriam, and worked miracles and wonders through Him. Moses was described as the meekest and most humble man during His days.

Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.) Numbers 12:3 NIV

Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all people who were on the face of the earth. Numbers 12:3 ESV

God wants to know us by name and He wants us to find grace in His sight. We are saved by grace and God has given us grace, however grace is in levels. There is a place of all grace. Also, great grace was upon the apostles. If we want to be intimate with God and do great and mighty works we should learn to appreciate the grace of God. Jesus is the grace of God. God wants to decorate us and beautify us with Christ – the word of God and the grace of God.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Acts 4:33

May we yearn and keep praying to get to the place of all grace. There, glory abounds and peace reigns. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ rest upon us, fill us up, surround us, and be with us.

She Was Not Seeking Me, She Was Seeking Blessings

She Was Not Seeking Me, She Was Seeking Blessings

Revelations And Messages 11

Many years ago, I was in a trance and the Lord started talking to me about a woman that I know who was trapped in the occult and witchcraft. I had prayed for her several times but her case seemed particularly difficult. In that trance, I asked the Lord, “Lord, how did this woman end up like this?” The Lord replied me and said, “ She was not seeking me, she was seeking blessings.”

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

That was when I learnt the true meaning of the words “seek ye first the Kingdom of God.” The Lord let me know that, that particular woman was seeking solutions to her problems without correspondingly seeking Christ first. Of course, she stumbled upon some false miracle workers who solved her problems for her but then initiated her into the occult and witchcraft.

The woman then went so deep into the occult and witchcraft, that she could no longer retrace her steps or turn back. She was so frightened of her occult helpers or spirits because they harassed her and threatened her day and night. Fear overtook her and she became stuck – no going back.

It is a very dangerous thing to seek solutions to your problems outside Christ or through false Christ’s, apostles and prophets. Beloved, may we seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness first and persist in the ways of Jesus. God will reward those who diligently seek Him.

God’s Glory Sanctifies

God’s Glory Sanctifies

And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by My glory. Exodus 29_43.png

And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by My glory. Exodus 29:43

God’s glory sanctifies His temple or tabernacle. When His glory fills up your spirit where He dwells, you will be truly sanctified and made clean. Every grave cloth, garment, demon, sickness, bad habit and bad fruit that followed you from your old life must bow to the name of Jesus. His glory renews your mind by filling it with the word of God.

It is good to receive inner strength from God’s grace, and not by obeying rules about foods; those who obey these rules have not been helped by them. Hebrews 13:9

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. (Hebrews 13:9 NKJV)

When His manifest presence grows and fills you up, you will be given the ability to retain and understand the word of God. It is the Holy Spirit that sanctifies us through the power of God and the word of God. Strength comes from the grace of God. His grace establishes us and His glory is His grace. Man’s power is of no use at all.

May His glory fill us up and sanctify us completely as we seek His face and wait upon Him daily in Jesus name.

His Fragrance

His Fragrance

The Spirit Of The Lord

Show me your glory.png

Then Moses said, “Please show me Your glory.” Exodus 33:18

God is everywhere but His manifest presence or fragrance is not everywhere. Christians have the Holy Spirit living in them but they do not automatically have the manifest presence of God or the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in abundance. They have the manifest presence of God in measures. The manifest presence of God is the glory, life or blood of God that flows out from the Holy Spirit. It is also His love, grace and mercy.

I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. Acts 2:19

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Acts 4:33

The Holy Spirit is the one who will release, discharge or emit His glory, life or blood to fill your Spirit where He dwells. Your Spirit is His temple and He wants His temple to be filled with His glory. The Holy Spirit is God and does not increase or decease but His presence, glory, aura, life, blood, fragrance, substance and materiality in you can increase or decrease depending on how you seek Him and wait on upon Him with faith and righteousness.

May we keep seeking His face until His glory becomes a daily experience in our lives.

Pray To Finish Your Race

Pray To Finish Your Race

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4_7 NKJV).png

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7 NKJV)

Jesus and Paul were finishers. They finished and fulfilled the work that they were called by God to do. If you want God to be very pleased with you, desire and pray to complete your God ordained assignment. Never quit or surrender to discouragement half way – be determined to complete.

“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. (Acts 20:24 NKJV)

Jesus came to show us the way and He is our example. He said, “my food is to do the will of God and finish His work.” What is your own food? Money, greed, lust, fame or pleasure? What do you desire most in this world? Is it to do the will of God and finish His work or is it how to attract blessings. Even pagans know how to deviously attract good things or “physical blessings” because that is the only thing that they seek. They do not care about God’s will. Good things or physical blessings are not evidence of God’s approval. The most physically blessed person is not the most righteous person.

Blessings are good and God will give good things to those who ask but they should not be your primary focus and hearts desire. Pleasing God should be our primary hearts desire because that is why we were created. If we seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, all others things will be added to us.

Pray to always do the will of God and finish your assignment and calling in this life. That is why you were born. Everything else is definitely vanity and chasing the wind and shadows, because they will cease, one day. Everyone will realize this on the judgement day.

Faith Grows

Faith Grows

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. (2 Thessalonians 1_3 ESV).png

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. (2 Thessalonians 1:3 ESV)

Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring. (2 Thessalonians 1:4 ESV)

We know that our faith is growing when we cling to every word of God tenaciously without doubt and without giving up. When we are steadfast, unyielding and tenacious despite trials, tests, persecutions and afflictions we know that our faith is getting stronger and stronger. When we pray without double mind and doubting, we are showing faith. When we realize the sovereignty of God like Cornelius who understood that only God can save and destroy we know that our faith is growing.

The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it. ”When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. Matthew 8:8-10

Faith is manifested in many ways and tested with many things. It is not just when we get answers to prayers that we say that we have faith. Faith is also evidenced by strong patience, persistence and perseverance even when our prayers have not been answered and we are still waiting upon the Lord for the answer.

Look at the case of Abraham and the case of Job. They were not answered immediately. That is because God also tests our faith to know if we only love Him for the goodies. Will we abandon Him in bad times when we are undergoing harsh and severe trials? Do we just simply recoil and give up because of trials?

The devil encouraged Job to give up and die through his wife but he refused. He knew that God was more than he was seeing and greater than his circumstance. He never lost his faith or gave up. At the end He was proved right. God showed up and proved Him right – that He is a good God who never disappoints no matter the circumstances we face. God remains a good and loving God.

We know that our faith is growing when every word of God becomes sacred to us as we uphold it and glorify it. With growing faith we loose fear and we grow in love, peace and all the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. 1 Corinthians 3:5-9

The Holy Spirit Himself is the one who makes our faith grow by His word living in us through His grace. He is the one that causes the word, seed or plant to grow and keep growing until we produce the fruit of faith and other fruits to a hundred fold.

May the Holy Spirit make our faith strong and mature in Jesus name.

Brothers, pray for us. (1 Thessalonians 5:25 ESV)

Do we pray to God for our ministers? Do we pray for others in intercession and supplication? God expects us to pray for our ministers and pray for one another. Prayer is a powerful key in the Christian life. Jesus Himself was a man of prayer and I am sure He did not spend all His prayer time praying for Himself alone. He was not selfish. Our selfishness can actually follow us and precede us to our prayer lives.

This Scripture instructs, encourages and reminds us to pray for our ministers and others. May we not be selfish in our prayers lives in Jesus name.
