The Affliction Of Being Unloved And How To Respond

Message about how to respond when you are experiencing the pain and affliction of rejection and being unloved.

Jacob Marries Leah and Rachel

After Jacob had stayed with him for a whole month, 15 Laban said to him, “Just because you are a relative of mine, should you work for me for nothing? Tell me what your wages should be.” 16 Now Laban had two daughters; the name of the older was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel. 17 Leah had weak[a] eyes, but Rachel had a lovely figure and was beautiful. 18 Jacob was in love with Rachel and said, “I’ll work for you seven years in return for your younger daughter Rachel.” 19 Laban said, “It’s better that I give her to you than to some other man. Stay here with me.” 20 So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her. 21 Then Jacob said to Laban, “Give me my wife. My time is completed, and I want to make love to her.” 22 So Laban brought together all the people of the place and gave a feast. 23 But when evening came, he took his daughter Leah and brought her to Jacob, and Jacob made love to her. 24 And Laban gave his servant Zilpah to his daughter as her attendant. 25 When morning came, there was Leah! So Jacob said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? I served you for Rachel, didn’t I? Why have you deceived me?” 26 Laban replied, “It is not our custom here to give the younger daughter in marriage before the older one. 27 Finish this daughter’s bridal week; then we will give you the younger one also, in return for another seven years of work.” 28 And Jacob did so. He finished the week with Leah, and then Laban gave him his daughter Rachel to be his wife. 29 Laban gave his servant Bilhah to his daughter Rachel as her attendant. 30 Jacob made love to Rachel also, and his love for Rachel was greater than his love for Leah. And he worked for Laban another seven years. Jacob’s Children 31 When the Lord saw that Leah was not loved, he enabled her to conceive, but Rachel remained childless. 32 Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben,[b] for she said, “It is because the Lord has seen my misery. Surely my husband will love me now.” 33 She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, “Because the Lord heard that I am not loved, he gave me this one too.” So she named him Simeon.[c] 34 Again she conceived, and when she gave birth to a son she said, “Now at last my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” So he was named Levi.[d] 35 She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” So she named him Judah.[e] Then she stopped having children.

Don’t Despise Me, Worship Me!

For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, (Revelation 5_9 NKJV)

Copy of For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, (Revelation 5_9 NKJV)

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your bloodOut of every tribe and tongue and people and nation. (Revelation 5:9 NKJAnd have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:10 NKJV)

Jesus Christ was slain and by His sacrificial death and blood, He redeemed us to God by His precious blood. God saved us with His own blood. He healed us, washed us, transformed us and set us free – glory to God. The blood of Jesus has set us free. Regardless of the report that you hear the word of God is true and constant. Let God be true and every man a liar.

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. Acts 20:28

And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11

The twenty four elders in Rev elations 5:8 fell down before the Lamb and worshiped Him with musical instruments. That is the attitude in heaven and we, as pilgrims on earth who are citizens of heaven must constantly emulate and imitate the heavenly worship and order. We must constantly worship Christ and celebrate Him for the redemption and forgiveness He achieved for us on the cross – nothing else will do. We must be loyal and obedient in thanksgiving, praise and worship. We might not understand our salvation fully until we get to heaven but we must rejoice in it and celebrate it as an act of faith and obedience.

The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints (Revelation 5:8 NKJV)

We must therefore always rejoice and celebrate God’s love, mercy and grace because our salvation is a great and powerful salvation. The sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross and our redemption should constantly evoke thanksgiving, love, worship, praise, respect, honor and obedience towards God. We must constantly meditate on this good news of our salvation that builds faith, love, praise and thanksgiving towards God.

The mercy and grace of God is not a small thing at all but when we do not meditate on the good news of our salvation, our minds will shrink and look down on it. We will turn back and begin to look at self, the world and the devil and magnify circumstances instead of God. Once we begin to look down on it, faith, thanksgiving, rejoicing, celebration, love and obedience will reduce. It is possible to look down on the blood of Jesus and despise Him even as Christians. Ingratitude comes from despising the blood of Jesus and a lot of Christians are ungrateful. God said that He will not be pleased with anyone that turns back.

What, then, of those who despise the Son of God? who treat as a cheap thing the blood of God’s covenant which purified them from sin? who insult the Spirit of grace? Just think how much worse is the punishment they will deserve! 30 For we know who said, “I will take revenge, I will repay”; and who also said, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God! Hebrews 10:29 – 31

Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded. Proverbs 13:13

And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back. Hebrews 10:38

There was a time I did not know that I was ungrateful and that I despised Christ (the word of God) but the Lord took me in a vision and showed me that I was being ungrateful. At that time, the word of God, the gospel or the good news was very scanty in me. I knew Christ’s law but I did not know the good news. I had heard of it but it was not living in my heart. As a result, I was not rejoicing in my salvation or celebrating my freedom by the blood of Jesus. Jesus then took me in a vision to heaven and told me to worship Him instead of despising Him. He said to me, ‘don’t despise me, don’t despise me, worship me!’ Then I understood that we can think that we love God so much yet, if we reject the good news, we are despising Him instead of loving Him.

But don’t be glad because the evil spirits obey you; rather be glad because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20

We must constantly rejoice in and celebrate Jesus and His great salvation that came through His precious blood. We have enough reason to be grateful and thankful towards God. Our salvation alone is enough to make us rapturous in praise, thanksgiving and worship regardless of our circumstances. Nothing compares to our salvation – not even miracles and all the wealth in this world. Our constant source of joy should be our salvation. We should be clean from the inside out. Jesus told His Disciples to rejoice because their names are written in heaven.

The same applies to us. We must rejoice because our names are written in Heaven – that is not a small thing at all. Those who are constantly sad are not rejoicing. They are looking at their circumstances and problems instead of looking at the word of God and their great salvation. When you focus on your problems, you will be sad and defeated and will find it difficult to celebrate Christ and His great salvation.

If you think that God is small and your salvation is small, then that will be your reality but if you magnify God, His power and your salvation, you will experience glory. When you spend time waiting upon the Lord in worship, thanksgiving, praise, celebration, rejoicing, faith and petitions asking for the fullness of God’s Holy Spirit, you will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

May God give us the grace to constantly seek His face and wait upon Him while clinging to the good news of salvation and redemption.

Glimpses Of Heaven

But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” (Acts 7:55 – 7:56 NKJV)

Stephen was filled with the Holy Spirit

And the Holy Spirit’s presence

In Him enabled Him to see the glory

Of God and Jesus.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit

Is so necessary if we are to be

Happy victorious Christians.

His presence will enable us to have

Glimpses of heaven, the glory of God

And Jesus.

His presence keeps us in touch with

Heaven as citizens of heaven.

His presence will stop us from

Having bad dreams and nightmares.

Instead of nightmares we will

Experience glory and play

With Angels.

Heavenly dreams are only

Possible through the reality of His glory

And presence.

As an Apostle, prophet, Evangelist and teacher

Of the good news,

I have had several glimpses of heaven

And I’ve sometimes seen myself in heaven with heavenly robes

Playing hide and seek with Angels and giggling

Like a little child.

I have had these experiences from an early age

And all I can say is heaven is so real.

There is simply

No distance in the spirit between heaven and earth.

One moment you are here and the next minute

You see your Spirt in heaven.

The reality of the Holy Spirit is all we need

To be constantly joyful in Christ.

However, this will require sanctification and spending

Long hours in prayer, praise and worship.

There is simply no quick fix. Jesus and Paul

Constantly prayed and sought the face of God.

Many years ago before I started

My spiritual journey to the beautiful mountain top

Where His glory dwells,

The Lord said to me,

“You must pay the price, you must spend time with me.”

He also said, “child give me your heart.”

He keeps saying to me, “seek my face and wait upon me.”

And He also told me how many hours

To spend in His presence every day.

Everything He has taught me has been very

Effective in helping me know

How to experience His presence

And the reality of the Holy Spirit.

He then instructed me

To share what He has taught me

Over the years about

Having a good relationship with Him.

Every revelation, vision and trance He has given

Me is for building up the body of Christ.

I pray that as we seek His face

And wait upon Him,

We will experience the reality

Of His Holy Spirit.

My Own Happiness

As I climbed the Hill

At Rock-berry drive

I remembered Harry

My ex husband

So happy

So loved up

With His new family

I hissed

As I heard a loud scream

And I realized that

I had fallen

Because I did not see

The white stone

By the pathway

A tear slipped out if my tired eyes

As I struggled

To rise up

From the muddy path

I picked up

A gold colored

Dry leaf

And I made a silent vow

To myself

Never to remember

Happy Harry

And focus on myself

My life, my path and my way

In order to carve out

My own happiness
