All Things

God’s Power 7

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

Everything was created through Christ and for Christ. This means that there is no need for us to fear powers that are against us. Every power is inferior and subject to Christ.

All things are inferior and subject to Christ and all things were created through Christ and for Christ

Instead of fear, we should always think of response and change. God can change and defeat every power for us. Response is about right focus and how we change because God cannot change. This means that we are the ones to change.

Maybe God wants us to pray more and persevere in prayer to defeat our enemies. It is also possible that we need to repent of something in our lives that are against God’s will and His plan for our lives.

God is in control of all things and not even a strand of hair can fall from our head without God’s permission. He is in perfect control but sin has shielded His glory and power from the eyes of man.

God’s sovereignty rules over all, but unfortunately, most people don’t believe that. They think that there are many gods and that somehow, God lost control.

Do not focus on negative circumstances, do not focus on idol worshippers and the wicked that are extremely prosperous. If you do that you will be frustrated, become discouraged and loose faith.

Focus on why God has permitted certain undesirable things in your life and how He wants you to respond in other to change those undesirable things. Focus on being led by the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to lead you out of every valley and wilderness of life.

That is why God gave Him to us as a precious gift. He is the comforter, guide and helper not the tormentor. The Holy Spirt is available to help us out of sin, temptation and judgement because God does not delight in judgement but will decree justice and judgement as the just God that He is.

Every power is under God including the powers of lying deceptive idols. Focus on goodness, solution and change and walking with the Holy Spirit to escape judgement and experience constant mercy.

Mercy triumphs over judgement but judgement will be given to us if we don’t cooperate with God. I have experienced judgement and I know what it feels like. God does not enjoy it but will permit it.

God is the only lawgiver and judge. He alone can save and destroy. There is only one God not many gods. All other so called gods are delusions and deceptions of the devil to destroy man. Everything was created through Christ and for Christ. He alone is worthy of admiration, praise and worship.

According To Our Works

I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. (Revelation 2:23 NKJV)

This is a godly reminder that God is not weak – He still judges as the judge of believers and unbelievers. He has promised to give each one of us according to our works so we should not be deceived.

Jesus was filled with the fear of the Lord and the fear of the Lord is one of the spirits of the Lord. Do not let the false teachers lead you astray and entice you into power without holiness and blessings without sanctity. God wants us to be mature and completely sanctified.

The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him– the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD–Isiah 11:2

Most us us want power but we do not care much for the fear of the Lord, wisdom, understanding, counsel, knowledge and fear of the Lord. It does not work that way, we need to fear the Lord with awe and respect.

May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.

He Listens

We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. (John 9:31 ESV)

God listens to prayers and hears them but it is conditional. Anyone who decides to love evil and harm others should not expect mercy from God – He will not be fooled or mocked. Mercy triumphs over judgement but judgement without mercy will be given to the haters of God and man. We are free but we are not free to hurt and harm others. Hurting others is detestable and despicable in the eyes of God.

If we desire good, let us be good. Anyone who desires evil, death and judgement should keep on hating, harming and terrorizing others but there is a day of reckoning. There is a day of accountability and Christians are not exempt.

A Christian will be saved and go to heaven but he will experience chastening and judgement on earth if he goes astray. Let all who call the name of the Lord depart from evil. Judgement begins in the house of God, so we should not remain in sin just because God is merciful. Any believer with that kind of mentality does not fully know, love or respect his Heavenly Father.

For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives. ” It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? (Hebrews 12:6 – 12:7 ESV)

If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it (Hebrews 12:8- 12:11 ESV)

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3:19 ESV)

You are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. (1 Corinthians 5:5 ESV)

I believe that the Scriptures above will convince us to stop being nonchalant about sin. May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.

When He Is Caught

People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving. Yet, if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house. Proverbs 6:30-31

This Scripture reminds us about the justice and fairness of God. God loves everyone and will never support evil against anyone. We are all made in His image and likeness. There is a spiritual law just as there is a physical law and breaking this law will always attract penalty and correction.

If we know how to fear the law of man and the physical law enforcers, it will be great folly to presume that actions do not have spiritual consequences. Those who have been thought not to believe in God think that there is no God somewhere watching and presiding over the affairs of men. God is omnipresent and He knows how to execute judgement even though He prefers mercy and asks us to choose mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgement but judgement begins in the house of God.

Jesus and Paul lived in the fear of God. They gave Him honor and respect. May we learn how to worship and fear God in a reverential way because our God is a consuming fire to the enemies of life. May we chose life instead of death. Faith and obedience attract life while sin and unbelief will always attract death or judgement.

May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.

Angry Without A Cause

But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment (Matthew 5:22 NKJV)

Most Christians have not understood the concept of spiritual judgement from God. Judgement begins in the house of God and God is not weak. Those who are afraid of the devil and demons struggle to grasp the true meaning of the sovereignty and supremacy of God.

We must not let ourselves fall into divine judgement – the ones that our ancestors handed down to us is burden enough and we keep seeking the face of God for restoration. Why live a careless and irresponsible Christian life? However, if you fall into sin, be quick to repent and if you fall into judgement, ask for mercy. Our God is merciful and gracious but mercy must not be abused.

If you are always angry and bitter with others, full of jealousy and envy, you are angry without a cause because Jesus died for all of us despite our flaws and weaknesses.

Do not be angry and never go to sleep with anger in your heart. It is natural to get angry but do not cling to that anger or pamper it. Do not let it linger. That can hinder your prayers and attract judgement. Anger puts you in danger of God’s judgment, so it is better to get rid of it, than hold unto it till you experience the fiery judgement of God. After Judgement, comes confusion and you might begin to think that your problem is from the devil or witches but the devil does not have the power of judgement or supremacy over your will.

Man is the problem of man that is why God executes judgement.

May great grace be upon us all in Jesus name.

Footsteps Of Life

May God give us the grace to walk in the footsteps of life and never reject life in Jesus name.

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come! (1 Corinthians 16:22 NKJV)

Those who do not love Jesus Christ are the ones who have cursed themselves. Jesus stands for justice, purity and love without any trance of evil. Those who do not love Jesus love evil, and destroy their fellow humans. They have rejected life and embraced death so they are the ones that have cursed themselves.

May God give us the grace to walk in the footsteps of life and never reject life in Jesus name.

Godly reminders 5 – God Will Defeat Your Enemies

God will defeat your enemies

Godly 5

Behold, God is my helper;

the Lord is the upholder of my life.

He will return the evil to my enemies;

in your faithfulness put an end to them (Psalm 54:4 – 54:5 ESV)

You do not need to be bothered when people feed you with evil and oppress you. The law exists and is always upheld by God. God says He will return the evil to your enemies.

Do not think about your enemies or be bitter with them because bitterness pollutes and destroys the human spirit. There is a spiritual law and God will revenge.

That is the word of God. Just pray for your enemies and allow God to be God. He is the ruler, lawgiver, and judge. He will execute justice.

Decree Justice And Manifest Your Love

Lord, you are our shield and savior. Decree justice and manifest your love. Amen.

Psalm 7

A shiggaion  of David, which he sang to the Lord concerning Cush, a Benjamite.

Lord my God, I take refuge in you;
save and deliver me from all who pursue me,
or they will tear me apart like a lion
and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.

Lord my God, if I have done this
and there is guilt on my hands—
if I have repaid my ally with evil
or without cause have robbed my foe—

Arise, Lord, in your anger;
rise up against the rage of my enemies.
    Awake, my God; decree justice.
Let the assembled peoples gather around you,
while you sit enthroned over them on high.
Let the Lord judge the peoples.
Vindicate me, Lord, according to my righteousness,
according to my integrity, O Most High.
Bring to an end the violence of the wicked
    and make the righteous secure—
you, the righteous God
    who probes minds and hearts.

he will bend and string his bow.
13 He has prepared his deadly weapons;

They Cried Out

They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” (Revelation 6:10 ESV)

Vengeance or justice is a natural law of nature. The Bible says that we will reap what we sow.

The righteous dead

In today’s Scripture, the righteous dead prayed to God for vengeance just like the blood of innocent Abel cried out for vengeance. Human blood is so precious and dear that it must cry out for justice even when the innocent victim is dead. It is possible that some dead righteous do not pray for vengeance, however, God the avenger revenges even if the dead person does not cry our for justice and vengeance.

Jesus did not cry out for vengeance but Judas was punished. Repentance and the blood of Jesus, however, will save the guilty because mercy triumphs over judgement.

Deep Reflection

It is sad that some people and religions believe that they can destroy the innocent without paying for their spiritual crimes. Some religions and cults including some organisations that pretend to be Christian Churches but are inherently evil commit abominations involving human blood through external symbolic rites and rituals.

All these religions delight in rituals and human sacrifices as part of worship but God is a just God. He is the avenger and will avenge the blood of the innocent even if the innocent do not cry out for vengeance and justice.

The reason is because the foundation of God’s throne is righteousness and justice and human blood is very sacred. He will not be mocked and fooled. He will demonstrate that He is God by fighting for the helpless and sacrificed innocent, regardless of how powerful the religion or organisation that sacrificed them is.

May we all cherish and appreciate human life and blood and avoid all manner of atrocities that harm the human race. God is on His Holy throne and He is a just God who does not accept bribes. Blessed be His Holy name.

He Lives For Justice

To execute judgement on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jude 1:15 NKJV)

For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted. Psalm 9:12

He will execute judgement on all

He lives for justice

And guarantees

Justice for all

Let the oppressed rejoice

And be glad

Let the down trodden celebrate

Our God rules

From heaven above

The foundation of His throne

Is righteousness and justice

He will avenge the deeds

Of the cruel

And ungodly

He will save the oppressed

And downtrodden

And decorate them

With crowns of mercy

And justice

Rejoice brethren

For our God

Is an awesome God

He is the avenger

And He avenges blood

Blessed be His Holy name
