Speaking To Please Men

But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts. (1 Thessalonians 2:4 ESV)

The ministers who speak to please men will definitely go astray. This is because man’s ways are different from God’s ways. Man loves quick fix, magic, convenience and comfort. God expects sacrifice, commitment, dedication, loyalty and selflessness – we must crucify our flesh. That is why the way of God is a narrow way.

Those who speak to please men typically please the flesh and massage man’s ego. Those who are proud and love the flesh, pleasure and money expect teachings that with satisfy their itching and lustful ears. Those who speak to please men will fall into their trap because all they want is false teachers who will give them another gospel and another Jesus to satisfy their lustful appetite and lustful ways. Men clap for and applaud those who tickle their fancy and desire.

Those who speak to please God will teach the bitter and hard truth no matter how unpleasant sin-lustful men find those teachings. Jesus and many of the Apostles died because of the truth they preached. Men who loved darkness and lies could not stand their teachings.

The same is true today – those who teach the truth get persecuted and do not attract massive, huge crowd. People just want fast miracles and wealth not holiness. Those who teach to please men cannot please God or take the narrow way.

May God give us the grace to always please Him by speaking the truth always.

A Pillar In God’s House

The one

The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. (Revelation 3:12 ESV)

Those who persist and overcome the flesh, the world and the devil are those that are made pillars in God’s house. They are the vessels of honor who carry God’s anointing. The reason that the anointing is so scarce in the Church of Jesus Christ today is because there is an overcoming to do. It is done by the grace of God and by prayers. The more we seek God’s face, the more we are transformed until we are transformed from glory to glory into His image.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. Acts 4:33

It is like climbing a holy mountain bit by bit by the grace of God. When we eventually get to the mountaintop of Christian maturity where we produce all the fruits of the Holy Spirit, we are eventually crowned with glory and power. It is this resting of God’s power upon us that makes us pillars in God’s house. The power of God makes us effective ministers.

An Open Door

An Open Door

 

(Revelation 3_8 ESV)

“I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.” (Revelation 3:8 ESV)

When God opens a door for you and blesses you, no one can take it away. His blessings make rich and add no sorrow. No matter how many doors have been closed and shut in our faces, God is able and willing to open those doors. Is it your health, or finance? The God who made heaven and earth and delivered the Israelites out of Egypt with mighty signs and wonders will open doors for you, deliver you and bless you.

Continue to walk in Him and seek His face with faith, worship, praise and thanksgiving. Our Heavenly Father is full of love and tender mercies – He will open great and mighty doors for us.

Jesus is the miracle man and wonder working one and the greatest wonder is when He makes us mature and blameless in Him. He wants us to become virgins. He is looking for a church that does not have spots, blemishes and wrinkles. It is possible by the grace of God. All we need to do is keep our lamps burning instead of sleeping.

In the physical, we from being virgins to not being virgins and in the spiritual, we go from not being virgins to becoming spotless virgins. Glory to God, our God is amazing. By the blood of Jesus, the word of God and the glory of God, Jesus cleanses us and purifies us to the glory of God the father. All we have to do is surrender and yield to His word, grace and power.

We have been promised to one husband alone and He is the word of God, mercy, glory, grace and life. The Spirit and the bride say, “come Lord Jesus. ” Amen.

Full Assurance Of Understanding

(Colossians 2_2 NKJV)

That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ. (Colossians 2:2 NKJV)

Full assurance and understanding leads to full faith and full obedience. Understanding precedes wisdom and wisdom yields good fruits. Jesus is the wisdom of God and when He saturates your soul and mind, faith will become easy and obedience will be a delight. Jesus is the one that produces good works through us and His Holy Spirit is the Spirit of faith, hope, love, mercy, wisdom, revelation, power and grace.

Jesus is the word of God and it is through the word of God that He bears fruits in us by His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Word of God and the Word of God is spiritual.

The word of God is both the written word and the word spoken to us directly by the Holy Spirit. As we open up our hearts and accept the words or seeds planted in us by the Holy Spirit of Jesus, we grow and begin to bear fruits. The Holy Spirit of Jesus is the one that enables this fruit bearing by persistently working in us by His word until we bear fruits and they mature.

The Holy Spirit is the one that gives us full assurance of understanding and that understanding in turn will bear good fruits. A lot of people lean on their own understanding but the arm of flesh cannot help. Only the Holy Spirit our helper can help us bear fruits, by giving us full assurance of understanding of the word of God that He Himself authored through men.

Footsteps Of Life

Footsteps Of Life

May God give us the grace to walk in the footsteps of life and never reject life in Jesus name.

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come! (1 Corinthians 16:22 NKJV)

Those who do not love Jesus Christ are the ones who have cursed themselves. Jesus stands for justice, purity and love without any trance of evil. Those who do not love Jesus love evil, and destroy their fellow humans. They have rejected life and embraced death so they are the ones that have cursed themselves.

May God give us the grace to walk in the footsteps of life and never reject life in Jesus name.

Loosing Self Dependence

That we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, (2 Corinthians 1_9 NKJV).png

Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, (2 Corinthians 1:9 NKJV)

Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, (2 Corinthians 1:10 NKJV)

God is the one that takes us on the journey of loosing self trust. Self trust is our greatest enemy and a fierce enemy of God. Self trust takes God’s glory and attributes it to self. God therefore, permits events and circumstances that will make us realize that the arm of flesh always fails man.

By the time the flesh disappoints us over and over again and we gain wisdom, we then run to God with open arms and total surrender to Him, His grace and His power.

May God by His grace, lead us away from self dependence into God dependence and total surrender to Christ.

God Rewards Steadfastness

Revelations And Messages 10

The Lord spoke to me this morning and said, “I reward steadfastness.” He was talking about steadfastness especially steadfastness in prayer. If we can persistently pray, knock and seek His face, He will reward us. Sometimes discouragement sets in especially when we have been praying for a long time and seeking His face and nothing happens or seems to be happening. A lot people just sigh, shrug their shoulders and give up.

The Lord is encouraging us to keep praying and fighting no matter what. We must keep trusting and never loose faith. He rewards steadfastness in prayer so we need to persist and persevere until we see His face and experience His mercy, grace and glory.

The death and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross and His precious blood saved us and provided the grace and power through which we defeat sin. Without the cross ( Meaning the death and sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and His precious blood) we would not have grace to live in the truth and overcome sin. Without the cross ( meaning the death and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross and His precious blood), we would be subject to false doctrines that make us obey the laws of man and the flesh. The word of God is spiritual and it is only the spiritual law that matters.

When you obey the spiritual law that comes out of the mouth of the Holy Spirit you will be saved. When you obey the physical laws that man made up in false religions to appease their conscience, you will be lost.

Our glory, ability and salvation comes from the cross (meaning the death and sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and His precious blood) so we should only boast in the death of Jesus and sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and His precious blood that saved us and gives us the ability to defeat sin and death.

False Apostles

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:13 NKJV)

And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works (2 Corinthians 11:14 – 11:15 NKJV)

Deceitful workers who transform themselves into apostles of Christ have always been in existence from the days of the Apostles. They are not new. You would expect that believers are aware of this and are careful whom they listen to or follow. Unfortunately, many so called believers don’t care. All they want is someone that will tickle their ears and fulfill their every desire. They are just like wives that never believe their husband is enough. Those wives go outside to look for money and pleasure from other men – terrible. They are dishonest and false wives and they hide to do their cheating and deception.

True believers never look for a substitute spiritual bridegroom. They never look for substitute doctrines, spirits and Christ’s to fulfill false desires. Their primary desire in life is pleasing Christ. They are faithful wives and virgins who do not focus on their needs and desires but on the desires of the bridegroom. They have not forgotten their first love and they live to please Him.

Because they live to please Christ, and are constantly searching the Scriptures like the Berean believers, they have a thorough understanding of Scripture and do not follow every wind of shifting doctrine calculated and introduced by Satan himself through his apostles and ministers to deceive the elect if possible.

But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Revelation 2:4

False believers are among us today but they are scammers scamming scammers, thieves catching thieves, the dead worshipping the dead and blind men leading the blind. Beware of false apostles and be loyal, sincere, faithful and dedicated to Christ your first love.

If you are seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first, false apostles will not catch you like a fish but if you are seeking mammon and material things first, then you have exposed yourself and left yourself vulnerable and exposed.

May God give us the grace to always seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first.
