To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, (1 Peter 1:4 NKJV)
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:20
We have a glorious and godly inheritance that is reserved for us in Heaven. Isn’t that a great and glorious news? Regardless all the madness that goes on here – the persecutions, tribulations, trials and challenges, one day we will truly experience the raw and tangible love of God in an unveiled way. Right now, on earth, we only see dimly but one day we will see our saviour face to face and He will wipe away our tears.
Beloved, cling to God tightly without looking at your circumstances. Focus on the unseen and rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.
See, we have a glorious inheritance, so rejoice!
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. Psalm 16:6
I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. (Revelation 2:23 NKJV)
This is a godly reminder that God is not weak – He still judges as the judge of believers and unbelievers. He has promised to give each one of us according to our works so we should not be deceived.
Jesus was filled with the fear of the Lord and the fear of the Lord is one of the spirits of the Lord. Do not let the false teachers lead you astray and entice you into power without holiness and blessings without sanctity. God wants us to be mature and completely sanctified.
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him– the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD–Isiah 11:2
Most us us want power but we do not care much for the fear of the Lord, wisdom, understanding, counsel, knowledge and fear of the Lord. It does not work that way, we need to fear the Lord with awe and respect.
But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. (1 Timothy 6:11 NKJV)
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:12 NKJV)
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14 NKJV)
The good fight of faith is about pursuing righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and gentleness. It is about manifesting and producing the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Unfortunately, some false teachers have twisted the Bible to give Scriptures, meanings that are different from the original meaning.
God hears the righteous, so if your walk is right with God and you are bearing fruits for Him, all other things will be added to you. If you seek and pursue the right things like righteousness, love, gentleness, faith and patience you will not have to seek and pursue a perverted version of faith that teaches you how to worship, mammon, money, pleasure and prosperity.
Worship of God is completely different from worship of prosperity. God wants you to be prosperous but not at the expense of the health of your soul and being filled with the fruits of the Holy Spirit. We were commanded to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness but we were not commanded to seek prosperity and all other things. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him not those who diligently seek prosperity but do not seek God. God is faithful and He answers prayers but we should not act like pagans.
May we seek righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and gentleness. May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.
He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens (Revelation 3:7 NKJV)
Jesus has supremacy over all things – He can do and undo. He can undo what the enemy has done and He can do great things for His children. Life and death and in His hands and no one can touch us except He permits it.
This means that at every point in time, we should find out from the Holy Spirit why God permitted certain undesirable things into our lives, and how we should respond to defeat those things. The Holy Ghost alone, knows the cause and solution of every predicament.
All power belongs to God, so we should not fear the enemy or the agents, servants and forces of the enemy. We should only fear God, who can shut a door and no one will be able to open it, and when He opens a door, no one can close it.
To God be all the glory, power and dominion. May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.
We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. (John 9:31 ESV)
God listens to prayers and hears them but it is conditional. Anyone who decides to love evil and harm others should not expect mercy from God – He will not be fooled or mocked. Mercy triumphs over judgement but judgement without mercy will be given to the haters of God and man. We are free but we are not free to hurt and harm others. Hurting others is detestable and despicable in the eyes of God.
If we desire good, let us be good. Anyone who desires evil, death and judgement should keep on hating, harming and terrorizing others but there is a day of reckoning. There is a day of accountability and Christians are not exempt.
A Christian will be saved and go to heaven but he will experience chastening and judgement on earth if he goes astray. Let all who call the name of the Lord depart from evil. Judgement begins in the house of God, so we should not remain in sin just because God is merciful. Any believer with that kind of mentality does not fully know, love or respect his Heavenly Father.
For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives. ” It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? (Hebrews 12:6 – 12:7 ESV)
If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it (Hebrews 12:8- 12:11 ESV)
Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3:19 ESV)
You are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. (1 Corinthians 5:5 ESV)
I believe that the Scriptures above will convince us to stop being nonchalant about sin. May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.
Jesus is both the word of God and the glory of God. He is also the grace of God, the wisdom of God, the mercy of God and the life of God. He is the manifest presence of God. We need the word of God and we also need the glory of God but the glory only comes by complete union with the word of God.
The word of God is:
1. What Jesus did for us, that is the gospel, good news or message
2. The laws of Christ
3. The counsel, voice and direction of the Holy Spirit.
The only way that the Holy Spirit can control us, is by us completely abiding in the word of God. We have to walk by the good news or the gospel and believe that we are redeemed and forgiven. We also need to abide in the laws of Christ and the voice and direction of the Holy Spirit. By doing this we are uniting with the Holy Spirit and the Word Of God. The Holy Spirit is the one who gives us the voice of God on earth so loving Him means loving His words.
ThisI say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16
When we obtain union with the word of God and the Holy Spirit, we will then experience the glory of God. The glory of God is constantly present in heaven that is why there is constant life in heaven. However, the glory of God or the manifest presence of God is not always present on earth that is why you see death and the effects of death here on earth. The earth is the dark land of death or the valley of the shadow of death.
The people who live in darkness will see a great light. On those who live in the dark land of death the light will shine.” Matthew 4:16 Good News Translation
the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” Mathew 4:16 NIV
So, what man needs is the glory and the word of God, but man cannot taste the glory of God without submission to the word of God. The word of God, then should take precedence over all else. Those who truly love God are those who seek His word, will, Kingdom and righteousness. They do not run after material things like pagans because they know that seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness is all that matters and that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
May we love the word of God above all else and may great grace be upon us in Jesus name.
These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich) Revelation 2;9
Jesus knows our works, tribulations and poverty. Every suffering and poverty we pass through for His name’s sake and the gospel is known to Him. Sometimes, Satan can subject us to severe tribulations and persecutions just because we love Christ. If you are passing through persecutions, God knows, and he cares – He will reward you if you remain faithful.
This Scripture tells us that we are rich – spiritually rich and blessed. Glory to God!
He cares for us. May great grace be upon us in Jesus name
In this vision, I was in my room and this room was a beautiful upstairs apartment. I looked down through my window and saw a very handsome man downstairs, with a long gun. I looked at him and our eyes locked. I trembled in fear. I knew he had a mission. I was very scarred because I thought he would come into my room and shoot me. Surprisingly, the windows in my room started sliding up, as if the man with the gun, pressed a remote control to seal my room and protect me.
Next thing I knew, this man had gone into another section of the house and he executed judgement on some one I know. Then he went again to another section of the house and went into another person’s room. He locked the door and he fought with that person for a very long time. I was very scared because he was alone with that person for a very long time and I did not want something terrible to happen to that person. I waited anxiously, outside by the door of that person’s room.
Suddenly, the door opened and I saw that the person he fought with had been subdued in a positive way because he is not a believer. Next thing, he started leaving the house through my room window. I was suddenly not happy and I said, “you cannot leave until you give me my own message or minister to me. You have dealt with other people in this house and now you want to leave without saying or doing anything to me.” He tried to leave and I was very persistent and kept pleading for a message or an act.
All of a sudden, he transformed into a very beautiful woman putting on a very beautiful white garment and said, “preach the gospel, all I have for you is preach the gospel more frequently. You have been preaching but you do not do it as often as you should. ” That was when I realized that it was an angel that came into my house. I started saying excitedly, ‘so you are an angel! You are an angel! I never knew!” Then she had the most beautiful smile on her face as she finally left through my window.
A lesson that I learned from this vision is that in whatever way you are preaching the gospel, do it consistently and continuously as time will permit you to. Even if it is many blog posts a day it does not matter. Do not think that you are bothering and overloading people with too many posts. You never know which post and word the Lord will use to save and transform someone.
Overall, you should also think of the people from outside WordPress community who discover your website through search engines and actually want to hear more from you. You should not allow yourself to be restricted – remember your mission, vision and objective. You cannot please everyone so just go with how the Holy Spirit leads you. Well, that is what I intend to do – be constantly led by the Holy Spirit.
