That We Might Become Rich

That We Might Become Rich

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9 ESV)

For our sake, Jesus became poor, so that we can be rich. Rich in faith, love, grace, holiness, and divine presence. He suffered so that we will be sanctified, pure and holy. He bore our sins so that we can die to sin and live for righteousness. Glory to God, our God is awesome.

May we never take the grace of God for granted. May we all wash ourselves in the blood of the lamb that makes us clean and holy.

First Cause And Second Cause Of Defeat

First Cause And Second Cause Of Defeat

Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin (Romans 4_7 - 4_8 ESV).png

Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin (Romans 4:7 – 4:8 ESV)

God has cancelled our sins and forgiven us. He took our punishments, nailed them to the cross and healed us. What then is the problem? Why are we still suffering from past ancestral, parental and personal sins and mistakes. Sins that we have renounced and forsaken. Why?

Our problem is the second cause not the first cause. I hope what I have said is not confusing. We spend all of our time focused on the first cause but the first cause is not the problem. Our past sins and mistakes (which is the origin and first cause of defeat) were swallowed, crushed and cancelled by the blood of Jesus – that word is settled in Heaven forever. Why then is the devil playing football with us and dribbling us? Why is he kicking us around?

He is having an upper hand because of two things:

1. We refuse to be filled with the Holy Spirit

2. Un-repented sins

However, I have realized that most of the time, the main problem is that we are not filled with the Holy Spirit. If we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we will be led by the Holy Spirit and He will reveal the hidden and unconfessed sins that we might not even be aware of. He will reveal hindrances to our prayers.

Confessed, repented sins is not the problem because Jesus bore our sins on the cross. Some people will tell you is it because you do not have faith in the finished work of the cross- wrong. Faith itself is a fruit of the Holy Spirit and it is given. It is in measures and grows by the power of the Holy Spirit. You have faith in Jesus and His blood, that is why you are born again by His Spirit and His precious blood. The real problem is that you are not filled with the Holy Spirit.

Any faith you want to have now, should not be a foundational faith but a faith that takes you to greater heights. A faith that has actions of prayer, thanksgiving, praise, worship, rejoicing in and celebrating Christ’s victory, good deeds, waiting upon the Lords and seeking His face. This kind of faith is the type that leads you to depend on the Holy Spirit alone and be filled and led by Him. Your focus must be on the solution and the fullness of the Holy Spirit is the solution.

If someone pushes you into a deep well by mistake or even on purpose and you are in the well obsessing about how you got into the well and who pushed you into the well, you will never device a solution that will enable you come out of the well. You are defeated and are not being creative anytime you focus on past errors and mistakes.

You can learn lessons from your past mistakes through reflections but you should not dwell in, and live in the past or the cause of your problems. If you are trapped in that well and you focus on the solution, you will eventually plot your way out of that well and know victory. Jesus is our solution and the Holy Spirit is also our solution. Focus on how to be filled with the Holy Spirit and how to have an active working relationship with Him.

We must be forward looking not backward looking. The Holy Spirit is the living word. He is the now and true reality of God. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will truly know and experience victory – every knee will bow to Jesus.

I have noticed that when I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I see my afflictions leaving me in the dream. I see myself repelling and throwing up the evil substance causing the affliction. However, if I stop spending time in His presence, waiting upon Him and seeking Him, the Holy Spirit’s life giving presence in me reduces and I leave myself partially unprotected – I get oppressed or afflicted. So, I try to wait upon Him daily and constantly.

Sicknesses are spiritual substances and the presence of God is also a spiritual substance. When He fills us up, every other negative substance must leave and die off. Spirits and demons must also detach themselves from our aura and flee. They cannot remain when God is personality present – I mean when His manifest presence is present. Sicknesses and demons do not give rest but God’s presence gives rest, comfort, help, joy and peace.

The LORD replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest–everything will be fine for you.” Exodus 33:14 New Living Translation

The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14 NIV

The second cause of our problem is the reason why we are not healed or delivered. The first cause which is past, confessed, sins has been destroyed by the blood of Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. We need to focus on being filled with the Holy Spirit – our helper, garment and comforter. If we do not need Him God would not have sent Him as a precious gift. We need to partner with Him and not ignore Him.

Those who pay the price by waiting upon the Lord and seeking Him daily for fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit will be refreshed and empowered. They are the ones who will truly taste the fullness of the victory that Jesus purchased for us on the cross by His sacrificial death. We were redeemed so that we can die to sin and be filled with the Holy Spirit. We must never forget that.

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.

Politeness Goes Hand In Hand With Wisdom

Politeness Goes Hand In Hand With Wisdom

politeness goes hand in hand with wisdom. (1).png

Revelations And Messages 12

I was lying down on my bed some months ago, and the Lord spoke to me and said, “ politeness goes hand in hand with wisdom.”

Let us consider this word. Is there really any wisdom in being rude and evil with our tongues? The obvious answer is no, yet a lot of people I know go around, causing so much havoc and destruction with their tongues.

Whatever we desire in this life is what we will get, particularly in the area of grace and spiritual blessings – if we love and desire evil communication and unwholesome words, we will simply continue in it because, believe it or not, the person who engages in it, gets some perverse pleasure in it. Sometimes, it makes them feel superior to those they assault with their tongues and abuse, or it might just be a case of “I simply don’t care how others feel.” In either case, the flesh is being glorified.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

We need to starve and deny the flesh by making sure our words impart grace, love, encouragement and support to those we speak to. Our words need to build up, comfort, soothe, heal and refresh, not tear down, humiliate, belittle, ravage and torment others.

I have a friend who is not a believer. From the day I met him, some years ago, I have never heard him say any negative thing to me or about others. He was unbelievable in the area of using his tongue wisely. I took it for granted that, that is just his character and I would often tell my other friends that I have this friend who never ever says any bad, negative or evil words to me or about anyone else.

Then, very recently we were talking, and he said to me, “I will never ever use this my mouth to say anything to anyone that will hurt that person. How can I say something to someone, that after I have said it, the person will keep remembering it with pain, and the words will keep tormenting that person? What will I gain from that? I will never do that.” He said it with so much resolve, conviction, passion and determination.

My mind boggled and my eyes became wide with shock. I had a strange look on my face as I looked at him keenly, and digested this new information. That was when I realized that he had put on that character on purpose, and with perfect awareness – it did not fall on him very easily or casually. He craved it.

I had simply assumed that it was just him, but I never knew that not hurting people with his tongue was a practice, and a discipline that he had carefully thought through and resolved within himself never to do. He desired it and God gave him the grace even though he is not a believer.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6

Do you get what I am trying to say? There is power in hunger, desire, passion and will power and God oversees that hunger or desire in all of creation. Beloved, if an unbeliever could desire that level of tongue purity and God would give it to him, how then will God deny you that grace? You who has been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb with the Holy Spirit as your helper. That man desired the children’s food and he got it. Some requests are not vocalized in prayer – they are simply unspoken requests and desires.

Faith is not all about physical blessings. The best faith is the one that regards spiritual blessings. Sometimes, an unbeliever can exhibit faith in specific commands or instructions but because they do not believe in Jesus and His precious blood that saved us, they remain unbelievers. They do not believe in Christianity but they take parts of the teachings on morality and practice it.

Most religions do this. God gave this man a tamed and sanctified tongue in the area of politeness and not hurting people with the tongue. His tongue is not even saved because he has not confessed that Jesus alone is Lord.

He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

“Yes, it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” Then, Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment. Mark 15:26-28

This man got part of the children’s food or grace just like the woman whose daughter was sick. Will God deny you that grace? No. The bitter truth is that anyone who goes around being rude and causing havoc with his tongue does not care about sanctifying his tongue. He has no hunger, passion or desire for grace in that area and does not desire it either in the prayer closet or out of the prayer closet.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

If we desire sanctified tongues and are humble enough to persistently ask for that grace, God will meet our needs. He gives grace to the humble and resists the proud. If we say that we are perfect and lack nothing without seeing a part of our nakedness, we will remain the same – partially or completely naked.

We will remain the same because we do not even see the need to change. We do not even know that we are partially or completely naked. That is just like spiritual insanity. In the physical, an insane man does not know or recognize his insanity. He is not aware because he is mentally unconscious. A lot of us are not spiritually aware. We are asleep.

This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Ephesians 5:14

May we truly hunger and thirst for righteousness including the sanctification of our tongues in Jesus name. May we be healed from every spiritual insanity and unconsciousness, lack of awareness and nakedness in Jesus name.

Speaking To Please Men

Speaking To Please Men

But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts. (1 Thessalonians 2:4 ESV)

(1 Thessalonians 2_4 ESV).png

The ministers who speak to please men will definitely go astray. This is because man’s ways are different from God’s ways. Man loves quick fix, magic, convenience and comfort. God expects sacrifice, commitment, dedication, loyalty and selflessness – we must crucify our flesh. That is why the way of God is a narrow way.

Those who speak to please men typically please the flesh and massage man’s ego. Those who are proud and love the flesh, pleasure and money expect teachings that with satisfy their itching and lustful ears. Those who speak to please men will fall into their trap because all they want is false teachers who will give them another gospel and another Jesus to satisfy their lustful appetite and lustful ways. Men clap for and applaud those who tickle their fancy and desire.

Those who speak to please God will teach the bitter and hard truth no matter how unpleasant sin-lustful men find those teachings. Jesus and many of the Apostles died because of the truth they preached. Men who loved darkness and lies could not stand their teachings.

The same is true today – those who teach the truth get persecuted and do not attract massive, huge crowd. People just want fast miracles and wealth not holiness. Those who teach to please men cannot please God or take the narrow way.

May God give us the grace to always please Him by speaking the truth always.

Full Assurance Of Understanding

Full Assurance Of Understanding

(Colossians 2_2 NKJV)

That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ. (Colossians 2:2 NKJV)

Full assurance and understanding leads to full faith and full obedience. Understanding precedes wisdom and wisdom yields good fruits. Jesus is the wisdom of God and when He saturates your soul and mind, faith will become easy and obedience will be a delight. Jesus is the one that produces good works through us and His Holy Spirit is the Spirit of faith, hope, love, mercy, wisdom, revelation, power and grace.

Jesus is the word of God and it is through the word of God that He bears fruits in us by His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Word of God and the Word of God is spiritual.

The word of God is both the written word and the word spoken to us directly by the Holy Spirit. As we open up our hearts and accept the words or seeds planted in us by the Holy Spirit of Jesus, we grow and begin to bear fruits. The Holy Spirit of Jesus is the one that enables this fruit bearing by persistently working in us by His word until we bear fruits and they mature.

The Holy Spirit is the one that gives us full assurance of understanding and that understanding in turn will bear good fruits. A lot of people lean on their own understanding but the arm of flesh cannot help. Only the Holy Spirit our helper can help us bear fruits, by giving us full assurance of understanding of the word of God that He Himself authored through men.

God Rewards Steadfastness

God Rewards Steadfastness

Copy of But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. (Galatians 6_14 NKJV)

Revelations And Messages 10

The Lord spoke to me this morning and said, “I reward steadfastness.” He was talking about steadfastness especially steadfastness in prayer. If we can persistently pray, knock and seek His face, He will reward us. Sometimes discouragement sets in especially when we have been praying for a long time and seeking His face and nothing happens or seems to be happening. A lot people just sigh, shrug their shoulders and give up.

The Lord is encouraging us to keep praying and fighting no matter what. We must keep trusting and never loose faith. He rewards steadfastness in prayer so we need to persist and persevere until we see His face and experience His mercy, grace and glory.

Treasures In Heaven

Treasures In Heaven

Matthew 6_20 - 6_21 ESV.png

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, (Matthew 6:19 ESV)

but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:20 – 6:21 ESV)

This word instructs us to lay up our treasures in heaven where there is no destruction, decay, rust, armed robbery, riot and disorder. When we lay up our treasures in heaven, we are safe and our treasures are safe, however, nothing is safe on this earth. Not life, not possessions – nothing at all. There will always be a day when we will leave this earth for eternity and there will be no second chance. Those who refused to lay treasures in heaven when they lived on earth will regret and the lost will weep bitterly.

It is better for us to embrace this wisdom now and start living like pilgrims, sojourners, travelers and aliens here on earth. Our citizenship is in heaven and we must begin to behave it. No more hate and madness but love and pleasing God.

Whenever I see people quarreling over politics I simply smile and say, “ the reason you are obsessed with politics is because your hope is here on earth. All your joy, treasure, hope and faith is in this life and what it can provide that is why you hate and quarrel with anyone who has a political opinion that is contrary to yours.”

There is no need for Christians to be bothered even if they are on the receiving end of political, racial, tribal and ideological hate. Stop trying to reason with people who have no hope and have laid all their treasures here on earth supporting all sorts of abominations and perversions. Your treasure should be in heaven as you make it your aim to love everyone including your political, religious, racial, tribal and ideological opponents.

Lay up your treasures in heaven and be calm. Let the peace of God be with you and embrace His rest as you lay up your treasures in heaven and make it your aim to please God always. That is our high calling in Christ and we must not be found wanting.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen.

Claiming To Be Wise

Claiming To Be Wise

For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things (Romans 1:21 – 1:23 ESV)

Only God can give wisdom and intelligence and it is wisdom to recognize this. Pride is what has caused man’s failure.

Man claims to be wise but when it comes to spirituality and God, they become foolish. Anytime man begins to get puffed up with pride to imagine that he is wiser and more intelligent than God, man gets more foolish.

Because man has refused to honor God and thank God, God has allowed man to wallow in the darkness of stupidity, lies and error.Only God can give wisdom and intelligence and it is wisdom to recognize this. Pride is what has caused man’s failure.

The same man that has claimed to be so wise ends up kneeling down to statues and images made to look like man and animals. This has nothing to do with academic excellence or social excellence. Peter was a fisherman but God blessed Him with the Holy Spirit and spiritual wisdom. People in the highest echelons of society are the biggest culprits in this foolishness of looking down on God.

They are the ones who teach their followers how to worship idols, practice witchcraft, belong to the occult and go around naked. People who call themselves celebrities dance around naked and ignorant people worship and adore them. How depraved and low can man go?

If you doubt me go to shrines and Catholic Churches and you will see grown up men and women kneeling down to statues and kissing them. Even the Pope does it. This shows that wisdom comes only from God and anyone who is not humble before God can be a victim to this foolishness.

The Bible says, claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.” Idol worship and rejecting the true God is foolishness and only God can save us from this foolishness. It is not by power or might but by the grace of God and we must pray to God to open blind eyes.

May God’s grace grant wisdom to those in darkness so that they will reject foolishness and error and embrace God and truth. May God also increase the light and truth in us and transform us from glory to glory until we behold His glory and are changed into His likeness.

Godly Reminders 10.png

Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth (Revelation 1:5 NKJV)

Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. (Philippians 3:21 NKJV)

Who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him. (1 Peter 3:22 NKJV

Everyone who worships idols is put to shame; all the gods bow down before the Lord. Psalm 97:7

Jesus Christ our redeemer is so amazingly powerful that it is mind boggling and exciting to those who have understood His great power, dominion and supremacy. He is ruler over the kings and gods of the earth. All the gods bow down before Him in great respect. They only pretend to man and deceive man. They respect Him that is why they obey Him and His anointed servants and tremble with fear. They fear, respect and must obey Jesus.

One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” Acts 19:15

The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching–and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.” Mark 1:7

But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.” Luke 10:20

Demons, idols, powers or gods cannot stand His pure and righteous presence. They believe in God and tremble with fear. Some men refuse to believe in God and respect God but demons believe in only one God. They know that they are not gods but love to pretend to be gods in order to catch the rebellious God rejecters and haters. Only a thief can catch a thief. Satan is the examiner, tester, tempter, destroyer and adversary and he uses idols, demons or gods to do his dirty work. He is that chief thief that exists to catch smaller thieves. His own work is to catch thieves and our own work is to resist Him in the battle  of truth and faith. If you refuse to put on the white garment of the word of God, he will catch you but God’s mercy triumphs over mercy if we don’t reject God’s mercy.

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. James 2:19

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matthew 28:18

Everything in creation is subject to Christ and He is very high, very holy and very exalted in power, supremacy and excellence. Angels, authorities, principalities and powers have been made subject to Him and are subject to Him.

He has power to subdue all things to Himself and all authority or power in heaven and earth has been made subject to Him. All and every power belongs to Jesus and He uses them according to His purpose. Those who worship idols have never understood that there is only one God and idols are make believe and stand for things that do not exist.

So then, about eating the food offered to idols: we know that an idol stands for something that does not really exist; we know that there is only the one God. 1 Corinthians 8:4

Idols are just fantasies and imaginations created by the mind of man because man was made for worship. Immediately man rejected the Lordship of His creator man started lusting after other husbands and spirit beings to act as the male.

Man started looking for spirit providers, protectors, and healers to act as their spiritual husbands just like a woman who rejects her husband and starts molding male images and lusting after them. Our creator is our only father and husband – no one else will do and no one else can take His place and compete with Him. Not even worthless, powerless, lifeless, cunning, deceptive idols.

A spirit can transform to be male or female so even the goddesses are spirits that transform as females but they are actually the husband of their worshippers.

Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come. Romans 5:14

There is futility in idol worship because those so called gods and goddesses are not gods at all. They are just spirits operating under the canopy of death, darkness and deception to destroy man. When Adam and Eve sinned, death started ruling as the god of this world through deception. It was God that decreed that death sentence and the same God has reversed that sentence by sending Jesus to die in our place and defeat death.

Why then do people still cling to death and worship death, darkness and deception through idols? God has set us free from the worship and dominion of those weak and powerless spirits. This good news must be proclaimed and announced to the whole world. Man has been set free from the slavery, abomination, deception and wickedness of idol worship. Jesus is Lord of the living and dead.

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” Revelations 5:13

Every creature in heaven, on earth and under the earth sang and praised God the Father and Jesus Christ in Revelations 5:13. They gave Him glory and power but humans go and worship those disgusting creatures that know they are not gods because of spiritual laziness and quick fix . The only thing that those gods want is human blood and they will work like magic for their worshippers. It is in-fact, magic – the more you look the less you see. However, there is a day of reckoning when all men will appear before God and confess that He alone is God.

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

There is a judgment day for those who prefer idols and human blood and sacrifice to God and the sacrifice and blood of Jesus. When you reject the sacrifice and blood of Jesus all that remains is the sacrifice and blood of humans. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins and life is in the blood. idols are quick to destroy and ask for human blood because they did no create a thing. God only demands faith in His mercy that came through the sacrifice and blood of Jesus, love, holiness and obedience.

Idols, death, gods, powers and principalities have been defeated and Jesus has the key of life, death and hell. He is the only life giver and source of life, mercy and grace. May we all embrace Him as the only life giver.
