Pray, Pray.

My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness

And Your salvation all the day. Psalm 71:15 NKJV)

God’s righteousness means that He will not just sit down and allow your enemies swallow you up. His salvation means that He did not just save us once but He is a constant Savior. His mercies are new every morning.

We, as believers cannot just afford to sit down, fold our hands and let the enemy run wild in our lives. We are constantly being tested and no one is exempt from spiritual tests and trials. The Lord’s command to us is to pray and fight. He is our captain.

Do not think that you have to do something for the enemy to hate you fiercely. What did Job do? His only crime was that he was righteous and blameless. God himself said that about Job.

Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” Job 1:8

So, who wants to accuse job when God did not. Those who accuse job of being filled with fear are like those who gathered round to accuse and condemn him thinking that they know the ways of God so well. They never knew about God’s secret dialogue with Satan.

The enemy hates you because you are saved and going to heaven! Understand this. The human servants of the devil also hate you for that same reason. So you are in a spiritual warfare whether you like it or not.

You have no choice or option but to fight and pray. Pray until the Lord subdues all your enemies. If the psalmist could be so aggressive in prayer why will we be lazy and not appreciate the blood of Jesus. Jesus shed His blood for our victory so we must pray to experience victory until God puts all our enemies under our feet. God is waiting for your prayer and praise. He wants to deliver you from all bondage and give you victory so pray!

May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.

O God, do not be far from me;

O my God, make haste to help me! (Psalm 71:12 NKJV)

Let them be confounded and consumed

Who are adversaries of my life;

Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor

Who seek my hurt. (Psalm 71:13 NKJV)

But I will hope continually,

And will praise You yet more and more. (Psalm 71:14 NKJV)
