Stamp Of Approval

Stamp Of Approval

Exodus 33_ 15-16 NIV.png

The Glory Of God

Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” Exodus 33: 15-16 NIV

For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” Exodus 33:16

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is a stamp of approval. By anointing you with power and glory, God is saying that you are His messenger and vessel. He is also saying that He is with you and is pleased with you. If we examine the Scriptures above closely, we will see that Moses is saying that God’s manifest presence accompanying them is evidence that they have found grace or favor in His sight.

The anointing shows that God is pleased with the anointed vessel. It is not everyone that can carry God’s manifest presence. God’s anointing is not for those who are selfish, greedy, drunk, covetous and hurtful. It is for the compassionate and selfless.

We cannot have it both ways. It is either we are for God or not for God. We cannot yield our flesh to evil, sin, laziness, idleness, and lukewarmness and expect the miraculous – there is no wisdom in that kind of mentality and those who persist in such error open themselves up to deception and demonic power. We are not greater that our master, Jesus – God requires cleanliness, dedication and purity before His manifest presence can rest upon us.

The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14 NIV

The LORD replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest–everything will be fine for you.” Exodus 33:14 New Living Translation

It is only the vessels of honor who have cleansed themselves that get clothed with the manifest presence of God. Jesus, Moses and Paul were well known vessels of honor. No one can deny that God was very pleased with them. They found favor and grace in God’s sight.

And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17

May we seek to please God always and may God be pleased with us.

She Was Not Seeking Me, She Was Seeking Blessings

She Was Not Seeking Me, She Was Seeking Blessings

Revelations And Messages 11

Many years ago, I was in a trance and the Lord started talking to me about a woman that I know who was trapped in the occult and witchcraft. I had prayed for her several times but her case seemed particularly difficult. In that trance, I asked the Lord, “Lord, how did this woman end up like this?” The Lord replied me and said, “ She was not seeking me, she was seeking blessings.”

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

That was when I learnt the true meaning of the words “seek ye first the Kingdom of God.” The Lord let me know that, that particular woman was seeking solutions to her problems without correspondingly seeking Christ first. Of course, she stumbled upon some false miracle workers who solved her problems for her but then initiated her into the occult and witchcraft.

The woman then went so deep into the occult and witchcraft, that she could no longer retrace her steps or turn back. She was so frightened of her occult helpers or spirits because they harassed her and threatened her day and night. Fear overtook her and she became stuck – no going back.

It is a very dangerous thing to seek solutions to your problems outside Christ or through false Christ’s, apostles and prophets. Beloved, may we seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness first and persist in the ways of Jesus. God will reward those who diligently seek Him.

Spotless Virgins

Spotless Virgins

I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 1 Corinthians 11_2

I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 1 Corinthians 11:2

Jesus is the miracle man and wonder working one and the greatest wonder is when He makes us mature and blameless in Him. He wants us to become virgins. He is looking for a church that does not have spots, blemishes and wrinkles. It is possible by the grace of God. All we need to do is keep our lamps burning instead of sleeping.

In the physical, we from being virgins to not being virgins and in the spiritual, we go from not being virgins to becoming spotless virgins. Glory to God, our God is amazing. By the blood of Jesus, the word of God and the glory of God, Jesus cleanses us and purifies us to the glory of God the father. All we have to do is surrender and yield to His word, grace and power.

We have been promised to one husband alone and He is the word of God, mercy, glory, grace and life. The Spirit and the bride say, “come Lord Jesus. ” Amen.

Imitator Of Christ

Imitator Of Christ

Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1 NKJV)

If Paul could be so bold as to tell us to imitate Him the way imitates Christ it means that he was a good and excellent imitator of Christ. He lived to be completely Christlike in his ways. This means that we can all be Christlike like Paul. The God who made Paul to be blameless and Christlike is able and willing to give is the grace to be Christlike if we desire it. It is all about desire. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Treasures In Heaven

Treasures In Heaven

Matthew 6_20 - 6_21 ESV.png

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, (Matthew 6:19 ESV)

but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:20 – 6:21 ESV)

This word instructs us to lay up our treasures in heaven where there is no destruction, decay, rust, armed robbery, riot and disorder. When we lay up our treasures in heaven, we are safe and our treasures are safe, however, nothing is safe on this earth. Not life, not possessions – nothing at all. There will always be a day when we will leave this earth for eternity and there will be no second chance. Those who refused to lay treasures in heaven when they lived on earth will regret and the lost will weep bitterly.

It is better for us to embrace this wisdom now and start living like pilgrims, sojourners, travelers and aliens here on earth. Our citizenship is in heaven and we must begin to behave it. No more hate and madness but love and pleasing God.

Whenever I see people quarreling over politics I simply smile and say, “ the reason you are obsessed with politics is because your hope is here on earth. All your joy, treasure, hope and faith is in this life and what it can provide that is why you hate and quarrel with anyone who has a political opinion that is contrary to yours.”

There is no need for Christians to be bothered even if they are on the receiving end of political, racial, tribal and ideological hate. Stop trying to reason with people who have no hope and have laid all their treasures here on earth supporting all sorts of abominations and perversions. Your treasure should be in heaven as you make it your aim to love everyone including your political, religious, racial, tribal and ideological opponents.

Lay up your treasures in heaven and be calm. Let the peace of God be with you and embrace His rest as you lay up your treasures in heaven and make it your aim to please God always. That is our high calling in Christ and we must not be found wanting.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen.

Hindered Prayers

Hindered Prayers

Likewise, husbands (1).png

Godly Reminders 16

Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. (1 Peter 3:7 ESV)

Lack of compassion and understanding can hinder our prayers. This Scripture is talking about men showing honor to their wives as weaker vessels by being understanding towards their wives. There is a principle at work here and that is the principle of love, kindness and understanding. If this can hinder a husband’s prayer, it means that it can also hinder the prayers of other people who do not treat others with love, compassion and understanding.

This means that we should remember that our prayers can be hindered and if that is the case, we must live in such a way that we do not defeat our own prayers. Kindness and love will help our prayers while wickedness and evil will defeat our prayers.

May this wisdom dwell in us and keep us from living careless lives that attract judgement on us and hinder our prayers.

A Gentle And Quiet Spirit

A Gentle And Quiet Spirit

but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. (1 Peter 3_4 ESV) (2).png

But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. (1 Peter 3:4 ESV)

This Scripture is enlightening us about what true beauty really is. A lot of people are obsessed with their bodies and their outward appearance but pay little attention to the inner man. True beauty is the beauty of character and personality that comes from the inner man.

The beauty of God is His Character. It comes from His personality and shines light to the world. God’s character is spotless without flaw because He is perfect in goodness, mercy and kindness. He is love and selfless sacrificial love is beautiful.

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

A good, kind, humble, polite and gentle person is a beautiful person regardless of his or her outward appearance. Men look at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. If you have ever witnessed ugliness, wickedness and evil from a very handsome or pretty person you will truly understand that physical beauty is deceptive if it is not accompanied by good character. It is nothing without love, gentleness, humility and kindness.

May we all put on the true beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit in Jesus name.

Put On The Lord Jesus

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. (Romans 13_14 NKJV).png

In this Scripture, we are instructed to put on the Lord Jesus and make no provisions for the flesh to fulfill its lust. Putting on the Lord Jesus means putting on the whole counsel of the word of God, the complete armor of God, letting the Holy Spirit control us and being led and filled by the Holy Spirit and His fruits.

All this we should do with humility, prayer and persistence. When we put on the Lord Jesus, we become Christlike and pleasing to God.

Unruly Tongues

Unruly Tongues

“You have heard that people were told in the past, ‘Do not commit murder; anyone who does will be brought to trial.’ But now I tell you: if you are angry with your brother you will be brought to trial, if you call your brother ‘You good-for-nothing!’ you will be brought before the Council, and if you call your brother a worthless fool you will be in danger of going to the fire of hell. Matthew 5:21-22

Name Calling (1)

Godly Reminders 15

Unruly tongues are tongues that run wild without control and direction causing harm and trauma to anyone that it meets. People who call people fools and all sorts of demeaning, derogatory, evil names have unruly tongues and are not civilized. Politeness is synonymous with being civilized and wise.

Love is not rude. 1 Corinthians 13:5

In this Scripture Jesus is warning us against calling our fellow human beings fools. This Scripture actually demonstrates the holiness and love of God. God is not pleased with name-calling, mocking people, belittling people, cursing, demeaning people and disrespecting the honor of people. He created everyone special, regardless of our struggles and circumstance. It is unfair to call people names, insult peoples, mock them and demean them simply because we think that we will get away with it. Well, God is telling us that we will not only not get away with it, but it puts us in danger of going to hell.

We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. James 3:2

Our tongues must be sanctified and holy because they were created for life and imparting grace to others. Our tongues were created for loving, encouraging, uplifting, edifying and honoring people. Our tongues were not created for hurting, harming and traumatizing people with all manner of offenses that originate from the tongue – slandering, backbiting, rudeness, ridiculing, gossiping, lying, mocking, name calling, cursing, insulting, flattering, boasting and so on. We should know that we should not do to others what we don’t want them to do to us.

May God help us to sanctify our tongues and keep them holy for His glory in Jesus name.

Bad Company Corrupts

Bad Company Corrupts

1 Corinthians 5_11 (1).png

Godly Reminders 13 (1)

But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner – not even to eat with such a person. (1 Corinthians 5:11 NKJV)

This is one of the most ignored Scriptures in the Bible because a lot of people do not understand it but Jesus said that heaven and earth may pass away but the word from God’s mouth won’t pass away including this one.

In this godly reminder, we are instructed not to keep company with immoral people. The reason for this is because iron sharpens iron, bad character corrupts, you can share someone’s judgement by association, dirty aura or spiritual garment from bad people can pollute your own aura or garment.

Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.” 1 Corinthians 15:33

Jesus is our own example and He was never intimate with immoral people. The only unclean person in His company betrayed and sold Him. Unclean people cannot help themselves, Satan controls them easily just like Satan entered Judas Iscariot so that he could carry out his will and betray Jesus.

Judas was a false brother. He was chosen as one of the twelve disciples. He was named a brother but he secretly loved sin. He was insincere, impure and false. He was driven by many desires and his way of thinking and dedication to God was faulty and flawed that is why the devil could use him. His love for sin and insincerity made him unclean.

Jesus replied, “A person who has bathed all over does not need to wash, except for the feet, to be entirely clean. And you disciples are clean, but not all of you.” John 13:10

Jesus ministered to everyone and did not discriminate against anyone. However we all have a right to our personal privacy and space and it is not wise to bring immoral people into your personal space and inner chamber. Anyone who comes very close to you has access to your heart and spirit and the heart is very fragile.

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23

Jesus had twelve disciples, yet he was more intimate with three out of the twelve disciples. The twelve disciples were His inner circle but Peter, James and John were the ones that were in his inner, inner circle. The inner circle is what I am talking about. The ones you eat with and share your heart and secrets with are the intimate friends. Intimate friendship is reserved for birds of the same character and for loyal, sacrificial, selfless, kind, committed and dedicated friends. It is not lovers of evil and haters of God. It is also not for betrayers of friendship, the envious, the jealous, slanderers, back biters and fair weather friends.

If someone is disrespectful to God and claims to be a Christian, you need to give him or her space. Paul is advising us against hypocrites who are named as brothers yet love and relish sin and immorality. He is advising us against those who bask in the false glory and pleasures of sin and this world. There is a difference between yielding to temptation in a moment of weakness and later feeling remorse and repenting and loving a sinful life.

Some people who are named as brothers have decided that some sins are not sins and they are hardened in that lifestyle. They love everything that the unbeliever loves and live contradictory lifestyles with the gospel. I have come across such brothers. They say fornication and homosexuality are not sins and they defend idol worship. Their consciences are dead but they put on the garment and cloak of Christianity.

They are the ones that Paul is talking about. They are the ones that give Christianity a bad name and make a mockery of Christianity but God will not be mocked. They are the ones that make atheists rejoice. Some fellow believers copy their false and sinful lifestyles and some unbelievers are repelled from Christianity and quote such people as their reason. Their excuse will not stand before God in the day of judgement but any brother that causes others to sin or repels people from the gospel will be dealt with by God.

“If anyone causes one of these little ones those who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:6

This godly reminder is an instruction for all believers and should not be overlooked. The Holy Spirit talking through Paul has commanded us to keep away from brothers who are sexually immoral, idolaters, drunkards, extortioners, covetous and revilers. It is for our own good and the good of the church of Jesus Christ. If we want to be filled with the glory of God and make our vessels clean without any form of external pollution then we will take this godly instruction seriously.

May God help us to live in complete obedience to His will, be filled with His Spirit and become vessels of honor in Jesus name.
