His Holiness
“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like you, majestic in holiness,
awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?
(Exodus 15:11 ESV)
Our God is Holy
Whole and faultless
Perfect and Complete
Distinct and separate
His holiness is His beauty
Pure and Sweet
Majestic and Awesome
Being of purer eyes
Than to behold sin
He shy’s away from spots
Being the spotless one
His Love is His Holiness
He went to the cross
Because of Holiness
He heals and delivers us
Because of Holiness
He hates sin
Because of Holiness
He executes judgement
Because of His Holiness
The Holy Spirit
Is Holiness personified
Having no rivals
Or competitors
In Holiness
He grieves over sin
And we grieve Him
By unholy acts
He cannot change
Because Holiness is
His nature and character
He is Lord
And walks with us
To transform
Us into
His Holiness
We love you Lord
We exalt and praise
Your great Holiness
