The Light Of Heaven

The Light Of Heaven

When it seams

Like all hope is gone

And mercy is absent

And denied

When favour and blessings

Look unattainable

And life seams bleak

And dark

That is the time to

Offer our knees in prayer

And cry out for help

It is not the time

To give in to depression

Hopelessness and despair

Rather it is the time

To cling to faith in

The blood of Jesus

And activate power

By prayer, praise and thanksgiving

It is the time to spend long

Hours in God’s presence

And wait upon Him

Until the light of heaven

Shows up

Praise God

For the gift of prayer!

A Love Like No Other

Bible, Christian Faith, Heaven, Holy Spirit, Home, Inspirational, light, Poems, Power, Scripture
A Love Like No Other

Now that I have found

A love

Like no other

In the great Prince

I walk on clouds

And bathe and dance in

Golden rains

And purple confetti

It seems like

The world is lit up

With bright sparkling lights

As heavenly songs

Pervade and wash over

My soul

Transporting me

Into the world above the galaxies

To heavenly glories

And pure delights

I am so happy

I cannot contain my joy

The Lord has become my delight

And song

He lives in me

And I live in Him

Heaven and earth

Have met in great joy

In Holy marriage

My heart has become His home

And secret garden

As He envelopes me and

Wraps me up

In His aura

And heavenly essence

May the virgins

Of our great Lord

Delight in Him

May we open up

Our hearts

As He stands outside

And gently knocks

May we dine with Him

Always

May He become our crown

And glory

Amen

Echoes Of The Past

Bible, Christian Faith, Home, Inspirational, Knowledge and Wisdom, Poems, Scripture, The Word
Echoes Of The Past

Echoes of the past

Take over my soul

As I remember

The sins of my youth

Echoes of the past

Torture me

As guilt wraps it’s ugly

Hands around my tired soul

I toss and torn

In my bed

On a cold winter night

In Cincinnati

Troubled and uncertain

I get up from my bed

To get some water

Then I heard Him say,

” You have been cleansed

From past sins,

Your sins are forgiven

And forgotten

Your punishments are cancelled

Cleanse yourself from guilty conscience

And believe

Just believe

And watch my glory come upon you.

I love you.”

Let Me Fly

Bible, Christian Faith, Home, Inspirational, Poems, Songs and lyrics, The Word
Let Me Fly

Let me fly

To the heights above

To dwell with the golden clouds

And sing with the Angels

Let me fly

Everyday

Never to fall

Able to rise

Above circumstances

And situations

Let me fly

And embrace the Holy thoughts

Of the creator

Enshrined in His word

Never to look at circumstances

But focus on His ability

Let me fly

Father, let me fly

Because I was was created to fly

Surely, I will fly

Because I was created to fly

He Gave Us Life

Art, Bible, Christian Faith, Grace, Home, Inspirational, Jesus, light, Poems, Scripture, The Word
He Gave Us Life

He gave us life

He washed us

He cleansed us

He purified us

He redeemed us

He saved us

He delivered us

He healed

He justified us

O what a mighty God

We serve

It is by His great

Love and mercy

That He saved us

Our sins are

Washed away

He has declared us

Not guilty

And He is not

Counting our sins

Against us

We have been cleansed

From past sins

Thank you Jesus,

What a mighty God

We serve

If I Still Pleased Men

Bible, Christian Faith, Home, Inspirational, Purity, Righteousness, Scripture, The Word
If I Still Pleased Men

If I Still Pleased Men

For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ (Galatians 1:10 NKJV)

What a wonder it is

To rise above

The approval of men

To rest in

And to desire

The approval of God

The true mark of deadness

To the flesh

Is when we

Stop being men pleasers

And become God pleasers

Those who strive to please men

Are not pleasing God

They are pleasing themselves

And their ego

With the comfort

And satisfaction

That comes from the

Admiration and approval of men

We must search within us

To constantly evaluate

Whom we are pleading

Men or God

May we reject the pleasures

And ways of the world

In order to rest

In the arms

Of God’s love

Amen

It Is Finished

It Is Finished

img_4326

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. (Ephesians 5:11 NKJV)

No more addition

To the gospel

We must believe

That he set us free

Forgave us

And cancelled our sins

He also said to me

The word of God

Will judge those

Who refuse the gospel

On the judgement day.

It is finished!

Nothing else can

Redeem us or save us

Except the precious blood

Of Christ

That was shed on Calvary

It is finished!

Stewards Of Grace

Art, Bible, Christian Faith, Grace, Home, Inspirational, light, Poems, Scripture
Stewards Of Grace

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: (1 Peter 4:10 ESV)

Stewards of grace

Custodians of His light

Ransomed to be

The light of the world

May we never

Disgrace the grace

Of God

Or drive people away from

The light

Because of our actions

May the bride of Christ

Not hurt

Those they should protect

Because of error

God of all grace

Crown us

With the fullness

Of your grace

It Was Worth It

Art, Bible, Christian Faith, Grace, Home, Inspirational, Jesus, Scripture, The Word
It Was Worth It

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24 ESV)

Bearing the unjust

Weight of sin

Terrible and horrible

He suffered alone

With the whole punishment

Of the world upon

Upon His shoulders

He groaned

He moaned

Endured

Persisted

And persisted

It was worth it

Because

By His stripes

And punishment

We are healed

More Precious Than Gold

Art, Bible, Christian Faith, Home, Inspirational, light, Scripture, The Word
More Precious Than Gold

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 ESV)

so that the tested genuineness of your faith – more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire – may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:7 ESV)

Fiery trials

Can be so unexpected

And intimidating

Choking and threatening

Our peace

Fiery trials

Are unpleasant

And unwanted

Because man has

Been programmed

To abhor pain

And difficulties

However

Our faith must be tested

By fire

Because it is

Precious to God

May we always

Persevere and persist

And never give

Up our faith
