The Lord has heard our cries for help and mercy. He will defeat our enemies and crown us with deliverance.

Psalm 6

For the director of music. With stringed instruments. According to sheminith. A psalm of David.

Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger
    or discipline me in your wrath.
Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint;
    heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.
My soul is in deep anguish.
    How long, Lord, how long?

Turn, Lord, and deliver me;
    save me because of your unfailing love.
Among the dead no one proclaims your name.
    Who praises you from the grave?

I am worn out from my groaning.

All night long I flood my bed with weeping
    and drench my couch with tears.
My eyes grow weak with sorrow;
    they fail because of all my foes.

Away from me, all you who do evil,
    for the Lord has heard my weeping.
The Lord has heard my cry for mercy;
    the Lord accepts my prayer.
10 All my enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish;
    they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame.

  • Many of my home hospice patients cried for mercy and healing. I remember many times them saying oh lord jesus help me please, and they felt so alone.

      I understand your point very clearly. The truth is that man was not created to live forever so there is a day when we will all die. However, we must never look down on God’s ability to intervene. I have been healed of severe ulcer and migraine and God has worked in my life. However, I there have been times in the past when I was hospitalized and God did not heal me but rather, commanded me to cheer up and praise Him. He is God and knows best.

      God still heals people, however, He will not heal everyone because we are not immortal. The key is to keep believing and trusting in God. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

      And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrew 11:6

      • So the 4 year old that I witnessed dying of brain ca, deteriorating in front of her Christian parents until she was half paralyzed, lost her vision and and speaking ability was gods loving plan to help us be more dependent on him, trust him more, and draw nearer?

          It was not Gods’s plan but happened under His permissive will.

          For man to criticize, condemn, blame and judge God, we need to have created human beings and we have not. Humans are imperfect and mortal. Because of the sin nature, humans die. Like I said before, it is eternity that matters the most. The Christian parents who have had their children suffer and die, never gave up their faith.

          My mum never gave up her faith when my twin brother died as a baby. She was humble enough to know that we, as humans are not perfect. There is a root cause for every evil that happens on earth and adult humans are to blame, not God and not the children.

          The beauty about faith is that those who have faith do not use the bad things in their lives or other peoples lives to condemn God and write Him off. It’s all about pride and the human will. Those who think they know more than God come from a place of pride and condemn Him. Those who are humble are humble enough to put their trust in the God who created everything even if bad things happen.

          As long as man has free will and lives outside the word of God, which is the law, there will always be judgement that affects earth. But earth is not the home of Christians and they know it. For me, as a prophet and princess from the Kingdom of light, I have seen Jesus and heaven several times and those who know me know that what ever I see in visions and trances come to pass. I have experienced the reality of the supernatural, so for me, God is a constant reality.

          Those who think that God is not good enough and not ruling the world to their own taste should go ahead and create humans. If they do not have enough wisdom and knowledge to create man, then it is lack of wisdom for them to judge and condemn God. The one who created the world is the only one who can judge.

  • And when you actually have the luxury of being on hospice in developed countries we have medications to ease the suffering not prayer, all the people I cared for needed pain medication when they neared their death. All the religious ideals, dogma, and talk fell by the way side. Now consider my friend in the Philippines who is a native missionary there and had an orphan feeding program who is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She writes all the time on Facebook from her bed, because the cancer has eaten her hips away, “I was in pain all night but I won’t give up on Jesus.” I sent her money not prayers

      God is the author and giver of money and medical knowledge. I know that it sometimes looks difficult to believe but there is simply no harm in believing. God has healed me in the past, so I will keep believing and encouraging people to believe. The truth is that real faith is being conscious of the fact that even if God does not heal you, you will never give up on Him.

      The God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver usc from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up. Daniel 3:17-18

      Some people have believed unto death and I admire their faith. Never say never and never loose hope. Hold on till the end is my own philosophy. It is bravery to cling to God even with our last breath.

      • I think it is horrible what happened to job by the way so I don’t think an infinite being would want to toy with my finite mind just to see if I’ll give up or not. Didn’t Paul say father’s do not exasperate your children or they will become discouraged.

        • We see others suffer. But we don’t see how God is interacting with the sufferer.
          However, every such situation calls us to action. Some to prayer and others to charity. Its all about turning a heart of stone into a heart of flesh –
          Ezekiel 11:19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

          The Lord knows your compassionate heart.

            So well said. We really do not know how God is interacting with the sufferer. Thank you for the words of wisdom and insightful contribution.❤️☝️☝️

          You mentioned Job but Job never ever blamed God or condemned God. He never stopped believing and He knew that it was a test. Man’s faith must be tested in fire and unfortunately, some men despise the testing. They not only despise the testing but go further to despise God.

          God in His infinite wisdom is not trying to exasperate us or discourage us. He just wants us to have faith in Him and trust Him. To trust God even when we are down and afflicted is great faith and Job had great faith.

          And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:21

          God created all of us and can call us home at anytime. It takes great wisdom to realize this and God gives us His wisdom graciously if we ask. ❤️❤️❤️

  • Verse 3. I keep praying this for years.

    • laurabon

      Thank you so much for the response. It takes great faith to persist for many years. The Lord is with you, sister. 🙏❤️❤️👏

  • I really do wonder whether that is correct you know. If there is a god he has (or she has) a pretty odd way of showing love. I have to say I have come to believe that if there is a god then he is the creator of the Matrix and that the Matrix may be a faulty one. Please excuse my doubt. Perhaps I’m just having a bad belief day! It would be nice to believe but I can not.

      I know that believing can be hard especially for those who have assessed the events on earth and came to a conclusion that they do not want to believe.

      When I was very young, I watched my sick father for many years and we kept praying but there was no answer. Then I became hardened and did not believe. However, my roommate in University was born again and kept playing this song – I will be with you, your cry for mercy will not be denied by Maranatha singers. I always sang along without knowing it even as an unbeliever. Then one day she said to me, “do you realize you always sing along anytime I am playing this song and you know all the lyrics of this song.”

      I still did not believe until I was very sick and nothing could cure me. Then, the Lord Himself appeared to me and Healed me. He came down from heaven in a cloud and the cloud opened like a curtain. He then blessed me. He did not allow me to see His face.

      I was 23 years and did not know who I saw until I described the person to my mothers friend and she told me that the person that I described is Christ.

      I was hardened but just one encounter with God’s grace softened me to believe. I stopped using circumstances and events to assess Him. The first Christian album I bought was Alleluia by Maranatha singers which had the song, “I will be with you – your cry for mercy will not be denied.”

      Even though you cannot believe, God is bigger than our unbelief and doubt. Just one encounter with His grace can make anyone believe.

      Our cries for mercy will not be denied. That song spoke into my spirit and I know that this word is speaking into peoples spirits.
