Saying things that demean people or make them feel valueless or worthless is cruelty.

Love will never hurt

Love protects

Love understands weaknesses

Love uplifts and builds up the weak and discouraged

Love cherishes, values, supports and encourages

Love gives emotional comfort

Love helps

Love binds, soothes and heals emotional wounds and sores

Love gives life

Through words and actions.

Beloved

Let us all choose love

Today

Because

By love the world was made

And love sustains and upholds the world.

As for me

I choose to love

And I pray for the grace

To keep growing in love

Until my every breath, prayer, whisper, dream and aura

Radiates one thing only

Love.

May we all be

Saturated and filled with

The love of God.

And may that love

Of God

Shine through us

To bless, heal and enhance humanity.

Beloved

Let us all choose

To love

Today.

Love Covers Sins

Love Covers Sins

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4_8 ESV).png

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8 ESV)

We have not yet realized the power and reality of love. Faith started our Christian journey but love finishes, perfects and refines our journey. Love expresses and completes what faith started. If we say that we have faith and refuse to love others, we are simply unserious jokers. Love partners with faith to make us beautiful before God.

We are instructed in this Scripture, to love one another earnestly. This should be our quest as Christians.

Billows Of Golden Love

Billows Of Golden Love

(2 Timothy 2_22 NKJV).png

Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:22 NKJV)

This Scripture instructs us to flee lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, peace and love. All these things are spiritual and reflect the character of God. If we pursue them, we are pursuing the kingdom of God and His righteousness. As we seek holiness without which no one will see the Lord, God Himself will pursue us with His love and favor. His love is more intoxicating than any other love. It is better than the love of any earthly man or woman.

Your father, mother, spouse, children, siblings, friends can abandon you but God will never abandon you. He will never leave you or forsake you. Isn’t that love worth fighting for? There are levels, depths and realms of God’s love. We all have His love but experientially, we all taste different levels and flavors of that love. Jesus and Paul lived in, and constantly tasted the highest realms of that love.

The reality of that love crucifies the flesh and makes the world dead to you. When you taste that love, all you will crave for and desire will be that love. That love is the living water that it flows from the throne of grace. Fight to taste and rise to the pinnacle and climax of that love.

When you get to the climax, pinnacle and zenith of that holy love, your spirit will explode and burst out in holy and sacred tongues. You will experience holy fireworks and taste heaven on earth. Billows of golden clouds and love will envelop you and embrace you. He will hug you and hold you tenderly in His arms and you will breathe Him in. Oh the glory of that love. If only we hunger for a taste and continuous taste of that love. That love is pure and indescribable. God is love – His love is real.

We must get our priorities right and know who our first love is. Christ is our first love and He is the word of God. The word of God decorates us with purity and holiness when we put it on. We need to be clothed with the whole counsel of the word of God and the armor of God. When we do that, we are living according to divine spiritual order and God will be pleased with us, and crown us with His living love. The best feeling in the world is knowing that God is pleased with us. When we live in Him experientially, as He also lives in us in intimate fellowship, we are truly blessed.

May Christ truly be our first love in Jesus name.

Specks And Logs

Specks And Logs

(Matthew 7_3 ESV).png

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? (Matthew 7:3 ESV)

How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye (Matthew 7:4 – 7:5 ESV)

It is very easy to see specks or faults in other people yet ignore abominations and serious flaws in our own lives. Log is much bigger than speck. Typically, most humans expect perfection from others. They look at the world through the lens of black and white. If you are not as perfect as they want you to be, you become evil and unlovable but the truth is that no human can be perfect.

The sooner we start loving flawed and very flawed human beings the better for us. We are expected to love everyone like God who makes His light shine on the good and bad without discrimination. Anyone can love a very good and kind person who constantly sacrifices for them and is good to them. The challenge has always been the ability to love the unkind, evil and no so good.

Humans typically focus on all the unlovable and bad traits in others and simply refuse to love them, however, they love their own immediate families, defend them, and make excuses for them regardless of how bad they are. That is to show you that man is inherently selfish by nature. The problem is not love but selfishness. Most humans only love themselves and their own. That is why the worst dictator, murderer, and criminal loves his family but goes around harming others.

Love will always be a challenge if we do not learn to overlook other people’s flaws and begin to look inwards. We must start with “ the man in the mirror staring back at us.”

It is better for us to start removing the log in our eyes so that we will be better at love. When we remove those logs, we can then see clearly and appreciate the man next door.

Jesus the son of God who died and washed us from our sins is worthy of praise, adoration, glory, dominion and thanksgiving. He deserves our honor and respect.

He sacrificed Himself and willingly gave up His life to set us free. He is the lamb and the perfect sacrifice. He is the first and the last – the morning star. He shines brighter than the heavens in glory and wonder. His power is beyond understanding and His beauty is dazzling. Our great and mighty savior is a precious and rare gem. He is the ultimate prize that we must pursue because under His canopy and presence life reigns supreme.

Hold Fast To What Is Good

Hold Fast To What Is Good

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. (1).png

This Scripture reminds us to hold fast to what is good. We must cling to the word of God and constantly strive to be blameless by walking in love. We must hate evil and cling to goodness and holiness like Jesus.

The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. Revelations 3:12

Our constant delight must be in pleasing God. Genuine love must be our quest and resting place. It is only when our love and faith have been putrified and are made pure that we can truly know the riches and glories that are in Christ Jesus. When we overcome, God will crown us with rest, joy, comfort and glory.

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us – by me, Silvanus, and Timothy – was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. (2 Corinthians 1:19 NKJV)

The son of God that was preached to us was a Yes. He is the yes to all God’s promises. This Scripture is a reminder that we should always think positively about God and Christ. We must never doubt His love and ability to help us.

Jesus came as Yes, and forgave us all our sins. He defeated death, hell, the grave and sin. He brought grace and by that grace we have overcome and can overcome if we persist in faith, prayer and righteousness.

May we be fully surrendered to His will and purpose for our lives in complete obedience and love. May His grace, light, mercy and love be our crowning glory in Jesus name.

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. (1 Corinthians 12:26 NKJV

Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn? 2 Corinthians 11:29

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Romans 12:15

This Scripture reminds us about pure love, commitment and devotion towards others. We, as Christians need to love one another to the extent that we actually suffer with others and rejoice when others are honored. Envy and jealousy should have no place in the life of Christians.

We are a family and one body in Christ and the genuineness of our faith is proved when we have empathy towards one another and practice altruism. The promotion and blessing of another should make us rejoice and the suffering of others should make us sad.

Feeling other peoples pain and selfless concern for the wellbeing of others is a necessary emotional intelligence tool and emotional skill that we must embrace to be more Christlike.

Esteem Others Better Than Yourself

Esteem Others Better Than Yourself

Copy of Copy of Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory- but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.KJV (1)

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Philippians 2:3 New Living Translation

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves. Philippians 2:3 NIV

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.KJV

Most of us say we are Christians but we have never really understood the true meaning and reality of Christianity. To be a Christian is to be Christlike above every other desire. Jesus was humble and presented Himself as a servant. He served, loved and respected everyone.

False Christianity, lip service and flattery towards God and man is indeed a very sad thing. Hypocrites are worse than unbelievers because their evil attitude mixed and masked under the cloak, garment and guise of Christianity actually repels potential converts and believers.

We must preach by our actions as light of the world and salt of the earth. Action speaks louder than words – we cannot go about proclaiming Christ and at the same time spew hateful, evil and proud comments on social media that ridicule and demean others – God is indeed watching us.

These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Matthew 15:8

The Lord said, “These people claim to worship me, but their words are meaningless, and their hearts are somewhere else. Their religion is nothing but human rules and traditions, which they have simply memorized. Isaiah 29:13

Todays Scripture says we should value and esteem others above us. This attitude flows from humility and truth however, most of us have forsaken humility and complete truth. We live in partial truth.

The truth is that humility and selflessness will achieve what money, physical beauty and technology cannot achieve. Money and technology are good but if they are not used with humility and truth, they can be used as instruments of death, subjugation, discrimination, slavery and every form of vice until man destroys humanity.

We must begin to practice the art of honoring and respecting every human regardless of their physical appearance and circumstances. Once we begin to see everybody with the eyes of love the way God sees everyone, we will become less selfish and honor and respect everyone. This will lead us to reject rudeness, mockery, scorn, envy, racism, tribalism, jealousy, spite, malice, unhealthy competition with others and every form of vice.

May God increase our love for others to perfect love. May we be found blameless in His sight as we wait for Jesus Christ.
