Spending Time in the Presence of God — The Path to Spiritual Victory
Welcome to today’s Bible study. Today we are talking about spending time in the presence of God. This is one of the most important foundations of the Christian life because without the presence of God, there is no spiritual strength, direction, or victory. A believer is not called to a passive life but to a spiritual life of warfare, victory, and dominion in Christ. Jesus Himself is a warrior, and He trains His people to overcome. In Revelation, Jesus repeatedly says, “To him who overcomes…” This shows that the Christian life involves battles, and victory is expected.
The Christian Life Is a Life of Warfare
Many believers misunderstand Christianity and think it is a life without struggle. But Scripture shows clearly that there are battles to fight, an enemy to resist, and victory to obtain. You cannot overcome if there is nothing to overcome. Victory always comes after battle, and spiritual warfare is fought primarily through prayer, obedience, and fellowship with God.
Prayer: The Battlefield of Victory
Prayer is one of the main ways believers fight spiritual battles. When you pray, you engage with God’s presence, receive strength and direction, and align yourself with God’s will. Spending time in God’s presence is not a casual activity. It is spiritual engagement where battles are won before they appear in the physical realm.
The Role of the Holy Spirit in Victory
The Holy Spirit is the believer’s helper, guide, and fighter. Victory in the Christian life does not come by human strength but by partnership with the Holy Spirit. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are called the sons of God. This means you must learn to hear Him, obey Him, and depend on Him. The Holy Spirit is not passive in your life. He actively leads, corrects, strengthens, and empowers you.
Avoiding Spiritual Imbalance
A major mistake many believers make is focusing on one aspect of spiritual life while ignoring others. For example, confession is good but cannot replace obedience to the Holy Spirit. Prayer is powerful but must be guided by truth. Faith is essential but must work with obedience and love. Spiritual maturity requires balance. You cannot say you are strong spiritually if you pray but do not obey God, confess but ignore the Word, or worship but live in disobedience.
Spending Time in God’s Presence Is Essential
One of the greatest keys to spiritual victory is consistent time in God’s presence. When you spend time with God, your spiritual sensitivity increases, you begin to hear God clearly, you receive correction and direction, and you grow in wisdom and understanding. The presence of God is where clarity comes from. Many believers struggle not because God is silent, but because they are not spending time with Him.
The Word of God and the Voice of the Holy Spirit
A mature believer walks with both the written Word of God and the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Word of God is your foundation, and the Holy Spirit brings personal direction and application. This is why Scripture says, “Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.” When you combine Scripture with obedience to the Spirit, you walk in consistent victory.
Obstacles to Spiritual Growth
There are many things that can block spiritual growth, including disobedience, lack of prayer, lack of time in God’s presence, unforgiveness, spiritual laziness, and ignorance of Scripture. Victory is not automatic. It requires intentional spiritual discipline.
Becoming a Spiritual Warrior
A spiritual warrior is someone who spends time in God’s presence, prays consistently, listens to the Holy Spirit, obeys the Word of God, and walks in discipline and maturity. This is how believers grow into spiritual strength and stability. God does not call His children to weakness but to victory, dominion, and maturity in Christ.
Conclusion
Spending time in the presence of God is not optional. It is the foundation of Christian victory. Through the presence of God, you receive strength for battles, gain clarity for decisions, grow in spiritual maturity, and walk in consistent victory. True Christian life is a life of partnership with the Holy Spirit.
Closing Prayer
May the Lord draw you deeper into His presence. May He teach you how to walk with the Holy Spirit daily. May your spiritual eyes be opened, your ears be sensitive to His voice, and your life be filled with victory and maturity in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Being Filled with the Holy Spirit — A Living Reality (Ephesians 5:18
Welcome to today’s Bible study. Today we are focusing on a key truth in the Christian life: being filled with the Holy Spirit. This is not just a doctrine or concept, but a daily, ongoing spiritual reality for every believer. The anchor scripture is Ephesians 5:18 which says, “Do not get drunk with wine, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.” This is a command, not a suggestion. It shows God’s desire for every believer to live under the constant influence of His Spirit.
The Difference Between Having the Holy Spirit and Being Filled
Every born-again believer already has the Holy Spirit living inside them at salvation. However, being filled with the Holy Spirit is different. It refers to the overflow of God’s presence in a believer’s life, greater spiritual sensitivity, and a deeper expression of God’s glory in daily living. The Holy Spirit lives in us, but His manifest presence can increase as we grow in intimacy with God.
Transformation From Glory to Glory
2 Corinthians 3:18 says that we are being transformed from glory to glory. This shows that the Christian life is progressive. As we walk with God, His presence increases in us, our character is transformed, and our spiritual sensitivity grows. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is therefore a continuous journey of transformation, not a one-time experience.
The Holy Spirit as Living Water
Jesus said in John 7:37 that if anyone thirsts, let him come to Him and drink. He also said that out of the believer’s heart will flow rivers of living water. This living water represents the Holy Spirit. When a believer is filled with the Spirit, inner dryness is replaced with satisfaction, spiritual hunger is replaced with fullness, and the heart becomes a source of life and blessing.
Thirst and Desire Are Required
Spiritual fullness does not happen without hunger. God responds to desire. The believer must seek God intentionally, pray consistently, worship, meditate on the Word, and hunger for more of His presence. Without desire, spiritual growth becomes stagnant.
The Holy Spirit and Fire
Matthew 3:11 says that Jesus will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. This fire represents purification, spiritual power, holiness, conviction, and passion for God. When the Holy Spirit fills a believer, He burns away what is not of God and strengthens them to live a holy life.
Evidence of Being Filled With the Holy Spirit
A Spirit-filled life produces the fruit of the Spirit such as love, joy, peace, patience, and self-control. It also brings greater sensitivity to God’s voice, increased desire for prayer and Scripture, and spiritual clarity and discernment. Being filled with the Spirit affects both character and spiritual experience.
The Holy Spirit and Spiritual Gifts
Acts 2:18–19 shows that when the Spirit is poured out, people prophesy, receive visions, and experience spiritual manifestations. The Holy Spirit empowers believers not only for transformation but also for ministry and spiritual impact.
Jesus Is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit
Matthew 3:11 declares that Jesus will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. This means Jesus is the source of the Spirit-filled life. Spiritual fullness comes through relationship with Him and is received through surrender, not self-effort.
Conclusion
Being filled with the Holy Spirit is a command, a lifestyle, a continuous experience, and a journey of transformation. It brings peace, joy, holiness, power, and intimacy with God. As you seek God daily, may you continually be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit and walk in the fullness of His presence.
Closing Prayer
May the Lord fill you with His Spirit, increase His presence in your life, and transform you from glory to glory. May you walk in constant fellowship with God and experience His peace, power, and joy every day. Amen.

Message to the Church at Ephesus — Works, Endurance, and First Love (Revelation 2:1–7)
Welcome to today’s Bible study. Today we are looking at the message of Jesus Christ to the church in Ephesus as recorded in Revelation. This message was given when Christ appeared to John on the Island of Patmos. The message is not just historical but deeply relevant to every believer today.
Christ Knows Your Works, Toil, and Endurance
Jesus said, “I know your works, your toil, and your patient endurance.” This shows that God is fully aware of everything done for Him. He sees your service, your sacrifices, your patience, and your faithfulness in difficult times. Faith and works go together. True faith produces action. When faith is alive, it shows through love and obedience. Even when people do not appreciate your efforts or repay good with evil, God still sees and remembers everything. Do not be discouraged because God knows your works.
Standing Against Evil and False Teachings
Jesus commended the church for not tolerating evil and for testing those who claimed to be apostles but were not. This teaches that not every preacher is from God and not every message is true. Believers must learn discernment and test everything with the Word of God. Acts 17:11 shows that the Bereans examined the Scriptures daily to confirm truth. A mature believer does not follow blindly but checks everything through Scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The Importance of Knowing the Scriptures
Spiritual maturity requires deep knowledge of God’s Word. Apollos was mighty in the Scriptures in Acts 18:24, and Ezra had a thorough knowledge of God’s law in Ezra 7:11. Without the Word of God, believers are easily deceived by false teachings. The Word of God is light and protects from spiritual error. A believer who does not know the Scriptures is vulnerable to deception.
Endurance in the Christian Walk
The Christian journey requires patience, sacrifice, and endurance. Like Paul, believers face trials, rejection, and challenges while serving God. Endurance produces maturity and spiritual strength. God rewards those who remain faithful and continue in His service without giving up.
The Danger of Losing Your First Love
Jesus rebuked the church because they had forsaken their first love. This means spiritual passion can grow cold even while service continues. A believer can still be active but lose intimacy with God. God desires not only works but love. Return to prayer, return to intimacy, and rekindle your passion for Christ.
Avoiding Spiritual Backsliding
A believer can grow and still fall back if spiritual discipline is neglected. Growth requires constant fellowship with God, obedience to His Word, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Without this, spiritual weakness develops and destiny can be affected.
Hate Evil, Not People
Jesus commended the church for hating evil works. Believers are called to reject sin, falsehood, and ungodly practices. However, we are not called to hate people but to avoid evil deeds. Spiritual purity requires separation from sinful influences while still maintaining love for people.
The Reward for Overcoming
Jesus promised that those who overcome will eat from the tree of life. This represents eternal life and deep fellowship with God. Overcomers will experience the fullness of God’s presence both now and in eternity. True life is found in God alone.
Conclusion
The message to Ephesus calls believers to faithfulness, endurance, purity, discernment, and love. Take time to read Revelation 2:1–7, meditate on it, and apply it to your life.
Closing Prayer
May God strengthen your faith, increase your understanding of His Word, and help you remain steadfast in love, holiness, and endurance. Stay blessed.

Welcome to today’s Bible study. Today we continue with the message of Jesus Christ to the seven churches in Asia, specifically the church at Smyrna. The Lord said:
“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
Here the Lord Himself told them not to be afraid of the things they were about to suffer. He spoke about suffering, testing, prison, tribulation, and even death. These are not pleasant things. Naturally, when people hear words like suffering, persecution, prison, or tribulation, fear can arise. But Jesus encouraged them not to fear and to remain faithful even unto death.
This shows us that Christianity is deeper and more serious than many people think. It is truly the narrow way. There is a destination God wants every believer to reach, and that destination is spiritual maturity in Christ. We are all on a journey toward the mountaintop of Christian maturity.
As believers journey with Christ, there will be trials, testings, persecution, suffering, and seasons of difficulty. Some sorrow is godly sorrow that leads to repentance, purification, and spiritual growth. Other sorrow leads to destruction. That is why believers must seek God for understanding and not jump to conclusions about every difficult situation.
Look at the example of Job. Everything Job went through was permitted by God as a test. Even Job’s friends misunderstood his suffering and assumed he must have committed terrible sins. But they did not know it was a trial. God allowed Job to be tested because He already knew Job’s heart.
That is why believers must avoid condemning people or making careless assumptions about why someone is suffering. Only God fully knows the purpose behind every trial.
The Christian life is a journey of growth. God wants believers to grow deeper in faith, obedience, purity, humility, and love for Him. Many believers remain spiritually immature because they do not realize they are meant to keep growing in the Word of God.
The Lord desires believers to mature spiritually, to move beyond elementary understanding and grow into deep knowledge and obedience to His Word. The Christian journey is not meant to remain at a shallow level forever.
The Word of God is central to spiritual growth. Jesus Christ is the Word of God. To truly love Christ is to love His Word and obey Him. The more believers surrender to the Word of God, the more they grow spiritually and become united with God’s purpose.
Trials often reveal whether someone truly loves God for who He is or only for material blessings. When Job lost everything, he still remained faithful to God. His love for God was genuine. Through his suffering, he came to know God more deeply.
Jesus warned Peter the Apostle that Satan had requested permission to sift the disciples like wheat. This shows that nothing can happen outside God’s permission. The enemy can only operate within limits allowed by God.
The believer’s focus should not be fear, obsession with darkness, or constant attention on the devil. The focus must remain on God, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God. Victory comes through truth, spiritual growth, obedience, prayer, humility, and faithfulness.
The spiritual battle is fought with the armor of God, especially through the truth of God’s Word. The enemy operates through deception, confusion, temptation, and distraction. That is why believers must know the truth deeply.
Jesus encouraged the church at Smyrna not to fear because their tribulation would only last “ten days,” meaning it was for a season. Trials are temporary, but spiritual victory is eternal.
Believers must determine within themselves to remain faithful no matter what comes. Hold firmly to Christ. Cling to the Word of God. Continue growing spiritually. Continue seeking God sincerely.
The more believers grow spiritually, the more peace, wisdom, joy, and strength they receive from God. Some struggles disappear as believers mature spiritually and become filled with the presence of God.
The Lord wants believers to reach spiritual maturity, to become strong in faith, stable in character, and deeply rooted in the Word of God. The goal is to bear fruit for God and remain faithful until the end.
When believers focus fully on Christ instead of fear, confusion, or worldly distractions, they begin to walk in peace and victory. The storms of life no longer control them because their hearts are anchored in God.
So today, do not fear what you are going through. If you are facing trials, persecution, suffering, or hardship, remember that God sees you and understands your journey. Seek Him sincerely. Grow in His Word. Allow Him to shape your heart and mature your faith.
May the Lord strengthen you and help you remain faithful. May He fill you with wisdom, understanding, peace, and spiritual maturity. May you grow deeper in the knowledge of His Word and become victorious through Christ.

Message To The Church At Smyrna Part 1 – Keys To Victory
Welcome to today’s Bible study. Today we continue with the message of Jesus Christ to the church at Smyrna in the book of Book of Revelation.
Jesus said, “I know your tribulation and poverty.” From this, we can clearly see that Christians are not exempt from trials, suffering, hardship, or tribulation. Jesus Himself warned believers that difficult times would come. Christianity is not presented in the Bible as a broad and easy road filled only with comfort and prosperity. Jesus called it the narrow way.
So if you are going through hardship, do not think something strange is happening to you. Do not conclude that God has abandoned you. Christ sees your struggles and He knows your tribulation.
Many people come to Christ expecting all their problems to disappear immediately. But the Christian faith is deeper than seeking material blessings alone. We come to Christ because He is truth, holiness, righteousness, and eternal life. Genuine believers follow Christ because they hunger for purity and truth.
God looks at the heart. A true Christian is not someone who never falls, but someone whose heart continually desires holiness and righteousness. Even when such a person makes mistakes, they repent, rise again, and continue pursuing God sincerely.
Jesus taught the church at Smyrna that tribulation would come, but believers must remain faithful. After suffering comes victory. After endurance comes the crown of life.
Jesus also said, “I know your poverty.” This teaches us that poverty or hardship does not automatically mean someone is abandoned by God. There can be different reasons for difficult seasons in life.
Sometimes God allows hardship to build spiritual strength and maturity. For some people, sudden wealth may become a distraction that pulls them away from God through pride or worldly desires. God may first teach spiritual discipline, humility, patience, and dependence on Him before releasing greater blessings. When a believer responds correctly and grows spiritually, doors begin to open naturally in God’s timing.
The focus should not only be physical wealth, but spiritual growth.
Instead of focusing constantly on witches, enemies, demons, or people, believers should seek God for wisdom and understanding. The important question should always be, “Lord, what are You teaching me through this situation?”
God is sovereign. Nothing happens outside His knowledge. Prayer, seeking God, studying Scripture, and listening to the Holy Spirit are important.
The apostle Paul the Apostle sought God concerning his “thorn in the flesh.” He did not assume or speculate. He prayed and sought understanding from God. Believers should avoid making careless conclusions about every situation. Seek God sincerely and ask Him for wisdom, direction, and discernment.
Sometimes struggles may come from destructive patterns, sinful foundations, family issues, poor decisions, or spiritual bondage. But the Bible teaches that Christ is able to deliver and restore. Jesus Christ is the Deliverer.
The answer is not fear, confusion, or obsession with darkness. The answer is drawing closer to God through prayer, repentance, obedience, and the power of the Holy Spirit. As believers grow spiritually and walk in righteousness, God transforms their lives and begins to open doors of favor, peace, wisdom, and restoration.
Another important truth is that laziness can lead to poverty. God blesses diligence, discipline, and hard work. If someone refuses to study, work, improve themselves, or use their talents wisely, they may suffer financially as a result. The Bible encourages believers to be diligent, responsible, and productive.
If laziness has become a problem, repent sincerely and ask God for strength, discipline, wisdom, and motivation.
The Christian life is not about living in fear of darkness. It is about growing in the light and presence of God. The more believers pray, study God’s Word, seek holiness, and walk with the Holy Spirit, the stronger they become spiritually. God’s presence brings peace, strength, wisdom, and victory.
Whatever you are going through today, remember that Christ knows your tribulation and He knows your poverty. Your suffering is not hidden from God. There is purpose, wisdom, and hope in Christ. God expects the right response: faith, prayer, obedience, growth, and perseverance.
Do not lose focus. Continue seeking God sincerely. Continue growing spiritually. Continue trusting Him even through difficult seasons.
May God grant you wisdom, strength, favor, peace, and spiritual understanding. May the Holy Spirit guide you into truth and help you remain faithful to Christ.

Heavenly Father, my Defender, my Shield in the day of trouble…
Today I come before You again, not because I am strong, but because I have realized that without You, I can do nothing. Lord, there are battles around me that I cannot fight with human strength. Battles in my mind, battles in my family, and battles nobody else can see.
There are nights I smile before people but cry when no one is watching. There are wounds hidden deep inside me, pain I cannot explain with words. But today, Lord, I bring everything before You.
Father, Fight for Me
Your Word says, “The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Today, I surrender every invisible battle into Your hands.
Fight every power assigned against my destiny. Fight every voice speaking failure over my life. Fight every spiritual attack meant to break me emotionally, mentally, and financially. Lord, silence every storm rising against me.
When fear whispers lies into my heart, remind me that You are still God. When anxiety tries to consume my thoughts, remind me that You are still in control.
You have never failed, and You will not fail me now.
Strength in the Middle of the Battle
God, I confess that sometimes I feel discouraged. I have prayed, I have waited, I have believed, yet some doors still remain closed. Sometimes I wonder how long this season will last.
But Lord, even in my weakness, teach my heart to trust You again.
Your Word says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Father, let my morning come.
Let every season of delay break in the name of Jesus. Every chain limiting my progress, break. Every burden weighing down my spirit, be lifted. Every voice of discouragement, be silenced.
Lord, breathe upon my life again.
You Are My Refuge
You are my refuge. You are my hiding place. You are my strong tower.
When everything around me is failing, You remain faithful. When people walk away, You remain present. When my strength runs out, Your grace keeps carrying me.
I will not give up because You are still with me.
Prayer for Victory
Father, arise and let every enemy of my peace scatter.
Every power assigned to frustrate my destiny, let them fail completely. I reject every spirit of depression, every spirit of fear, and every spirit of confusion.
I will not be destroyed by what I am going through.
Lord, turn my pain into purpose. Turn my tears into testimonies. Turn every disappointment into divine appointment. Let this season produce a greater glory in my life.
What the enemy meant for evil, Father, turn it around for my good.
Restore My Heart Again
Lord, help me not to lose myself in this battle. Help me to keep praying even when answers seem delayed. Help me to keep believing even when situations look impossible.
Give me strength to rise again after every fall.
Let Your light shine into every dark area of my life. Heal every broken place inside my heart. Restore my confidence again. Restore my vision again. Restore my ability to hope again.
Closing Prayer
Today I declare:
I am not abandoned. I am not forgotten. I am not defeated.
God is working behind the scenes for me. He is making a way where there seems to be no way. My story will end in victory, and my life will become evidence of God’s mercy.
Those who see me will know that the hand of the Lord is upon me.
Father, thank You for fighting battles I cannot see. Thank You for protecting me from dangers I never knew existed. Thank You because this storm will not destroy me.
I will rise again. I will smile again. I will rejoice again.

Hello and welcome to today’s broadcast. Today we are going to be looking at a topic that may seem unusual, but it is extremely important because it can greatly affect your life and destiny. That topic is cowardice.
Cowardice is evil.
We are going to examine what the Bible says about cowardice, why God takes it seriously, and how fear and timidity can destroy a person’s purpose if left unchecked.
Our main scripture is Revelation 21:8:
“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Notice that the cowardly are listed among those who face judgment. This shows us that cowardice is not something small in the sight of God.
Why Is Cowardice Dangerous?
Some people may ask, “How can cowardice be evil? Isn’t the person just afraid?”
But cowardice does much more than make a person afraid. Cowardice cripples people. It cages them mentally and spiritually. It keeps them from fulfilling their destiny and obeying God.
Fear can become a prison.
A cowardly person may never step into purpose because fear constantly tells them: “You will fail.” “People will mock you.” “Something bad will happen.” “Don’t try again.” “Don’t move forward.”
Cowardice keeps people trapped.
Many people never achieve what God called them to do because fear controls their decisions.
God Did Not Give Us the Spirit of Fear
The Bible says:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
Fear, timidity, and cowardice do not come from God.
God wants His people to walk in courage, wisdom, strength, and boldness.
This does not mean being reckless or careless. There are reasonable precautions people should take in life. But there is a difference between wisdom and cowardice.
Cowardice is when fear stops you from doing what is right, necessary, or part of God’s will for your life.
Jesus Was Not a Coward
Jesus Christ is our example.
He knew the suffering that awaited Him. He knew He would be rejected, beaten, mocked, and crucified. Yet He still obeyed the Father.
Even in the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed:
“Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done.”
Jesus did not allow fear to stop Him from fulfilling His assignment.
As Christians, we are called to follow Christ. We are called to become spiritually mature and courageous.
How Cowardice Affects People
Cowardice affects many areas of life.
Some people are afraid to pursue opportunities.
Some are afraid to try again after failure.
Some are afraid of rejection.
Some are afraid to speak the truth.
Some are afraid to stand for righteousness.
Some are afraid to obey God publicly because they fear criticism or persecution.
Even some preachers compromise the truth because they are afraid of losing popularity or acceptance.
Instead of boldly standing on the Word of God, they become silent because fear controls them.
But Jesus said:
“Whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father in heaven.”
Fear can cause people to compromise their faith.
Fear Can Keep People Bound
Many people live in unnecessary fear.
Some people are afraid to get married.
Some are afraid to start businesses.
Some are afraid to pursue careers.
Some are afraid to take godly opportunities because they constantly imagine negative outcomes.
But fear often creates imaginary prisons.
The enemy uses cowardice to paralyze people and keep them from progress.
A cowardly mindset can turn someone into a passive spectator in life instead of a victorious overcomer.
Be Bold and Courageous
God wants His people to become spiritually bold.
If God has called you to preach, preach boldly.
If God has called you to serve, serve faithfully.
If God has given you gifts and talents, use them courageously.
Do not let fear stop you from becoming who God created you to be.
We all have a purpose and assignment on this earth. God created every person to contribute positively to the world around them.
But cowardice can prevent people from stepping into their purpose.
Stop Feeding Fear
Fear grows when people constantly feed on negativity.
Stop constantly feeding your mind with fear, discouragement, and hopelessness.
Instead: Fill your mind with the Word of God. Pray consistently. Stay close to the Holy Spirit. Build your faith. Focus on truth instead of fear.
The Holy Spirit strengthens believers internally and gives them boldness.
Cowardice Can Lead to Greater Evil
Fear can push people into compromise and sin.
Many people make wrong decisions because they are afraid.
Some deny truth because they fear consequences.
Some join evil systems because they fear suffering.
Cowardice can gradually lead people away from righteousness if they do not resist it.
That is why believers must reject fear and ask God for courage.
Final Encouragement
Today, repent from every form of cowardice.
Ask God to strengthen your inner man.
Ask Him to give you the spirit of boldness, wisdom, courage, and faith.
Do not allow fear to stop you from fulfilling your destiny.
Be courageous.
Be spiritually strong.
Be a warrior for Christ.
Stand for truth.
Walk in faith.
And trust God to lead you through every battle and challenge in life.
Prayer
I pray today that every spirit of fear and cowardice leaves your life in the name of Jesus.
May the Lord strengthen your inner man and fill you with boldness, wisdom, courage, and faith.
May He transform your mind from weakness into strength and victory.
May you become spiritually courageous and fully committed to the will of God.
May fear never separate you from your purpose or destiny.
May the Lord lead you, guide you, protect you, and establish you in victory.

Message To The Church At Pergamum – Keys To Victory.
Hello and welcome to today’s Bible study. Today, we continue with the message of Jesus Christ to the seven churches in Asia. Our focus today is on the church in Pergamum.
The scripture says:
“And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of Him who has the sharp two-edged sword. I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. Yet you hold fast to My name and did not deny My faith…” — Revelation 2:12–13
Today we are going to look at what it means spiritually to live “where Satan dwells,” how believers can unknowingly place themselves in spiritually polluted environments, and the response God expects from us. We are also going to look at how believers can remain victorious through the Holy Spirit.
Understanding the Temple of the Holy Spirit
The Bible teaches that believers are temples of the Holy Spirit. God dwells within His people through His Spirit. However, there is a difference between having the Holy Spirit and being filled with the manifest presence of God.
Many believers have the Holy Spirit living within them, but they are not consistently filled with the glory and presence of God. God commands His children to be filled with the Spirit because the level of God’s presence operating in your life affects the level of spiritual victory you experience.
When a believer spends time in worship, prayer, obedience, and fellowship with God, the presence of God begins to overflow into their environment. Even your home can become saturated with the presence of God.
We see this in the life of Paul. The presence of God upon him was so strong that handkerchiefs and garments connected to him became points of healing for others.
In the same way, when believers gather together in worship, the manifest presence of God can descend powerfully among them.
A Vision About the Presence of God
I remember a vision the Lord once showed me. I saw a church congregation worshipping, and I saw the Lord seated upon a throne near the pulpit. Then the Holy Spirit spoke and said that the Lord desires to rise and move among His people.
As worship continued, I saw the Lord stand up and begin walking through the congregation, touching people and ministering to them.
The Lord was showing me that miracles, breakthroughs, healings, and visitations happen when His manifest presence begins to move among His people.
Where Satan Dwells
Now let us return to the scripture in Revelation where Jesus said:
“I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is.”
Spiritually, Satan establishes influence through sin, idolatry, rebellion, darkness, and demonic activity. The enemy works through anything that opposes the holiness and presence of God.
Sin brings spiritual death and opens doors to darkness. The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death. From the Garden of Eden, humanity entered into corruption through disobedience. The world is polluted by sin, and many of the sufferings in this world are connected to that fallen condition.
The Danger of Spiritual Pollution
The Bible repeatedly warns believers to separate themselves from idolatry and spiritual uncleanness. This does not mean believers should fear demons or live in terror. Jesus Christ has authority over all powers of darkness.
However, believers must understand spiritual wisdom and discernment. Not every environment is spiritually healthy. Not every close relationship is spiritually safe.
The Bible says:
“What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God.” — 2 Corinthians 6:16
God does not want His people unequally yoked with spiritual darkness.
Some believers unknowingly expose themselves to spiritual oppression by maintaining close intimate fellowship with spiritually polluted influences. This is why believers must be led by the Holy Spirit.
Being Led by the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Counselor, Guide, and Protector. Without the leading of the Holy Spirit, believers can walk into harmful situations without discernment.
The Holy Spirit warns, guides, convicts, and protects.
Many believers know the written Word of God but have not learned how to hear and follow the voice of the Holy Spirit daily. But true victory requires both the written Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Without spiritual discernment, believers may remain in polluted environments that negatively affect their spiritual lives.
Warning Against Idolatry
The Bible strongly warns against idolatry. Idolatry is not only bowing before physical statues. Anything that replaces God, competes with God, or draws a person away from complete dependence on Him becomes an idol.
God desires His people to seek Him directly and remain fully devoted to Him. Believers must avoid every form of spiritual compromise and anything connected to darkness.
The focus should never be fear of demons. The focus should always be pleasing God, walking in holiness, staying filled with the Holy Spirit, and remaining spiritually discerning.
Victory Through the Presence of God
The answer is not fear. The answer is the presence of God.
When believers remain filled with the Holy Spirit, spend time in prayer, worship, obedience, and fellowship with God, they walk in spiritual strength and victory.
God wants His people to overcome. He wants believers to walk in discernment, purity, wisdom, and spiritual maturity.
The more you stay close to God, the more sensitive you become to His leading.
Final Encouragement
If you find yourself in a spiritually difficult or unhealthy environment, seek God sincerely for wisdom and direction.
The Holy Spirit will reveal the cause, the effect, the solution, and the response required.
God is faithful to guide His children.
Remain focused on God, not on fear.
Keep your heart pure before Him.
Stay filled with the Holy Spirit.
Stay grounded in the Word of God.
Walk in obedience and spiritual discernment.
And the Lord will preserve, protect, strengthen, and guide you.
Prayer
I pray that the Lord opens your spiritual eyes and gives you discernment. May He reveal every hidden thing that is grieving the Holy Spirit in your life.
May the Lord separate you from every harmful influence and lead you into truth, holiness, wisdom, and victory.
May the presence of God fill your life, your home, and your spirit.
May the Lord strengthen you, protect you, and establish you in His peace.

Hello and welcome once again. Today I’m going to be talking about persistence in prayer.
I want to share a revelation I received from the Lord many years ago when I was still very young. One night around 2 a.m., I suddenly woke up and heard screams and panic outside in the neighborhood. People were shouting things like, “Take him to the hospital!” I could sense fear and urgency in their voices. Then after some time, I heard the words, “He’s dead.”
Immediately, I went into prayer. I could not control myself. My whole being was filled with compassion and empathy. My spirit was deeply stirred, and I began speaking to God without even realizing that I was praying. I kept asking, “Why, Lord? Why did this happen?”
At that point in my life, I had never heard the voice of the Lord before. But as I continued speaking to Him, I suddenly heard a calm, clear, distinct voice say to me, “They did not persist.”
The voice was so real and so clear that it sounded like someone standing right beside me. That moment stayed with me forever.
The Revelation About Persistence
After that experience, I began meditating deeply on the word persistence. I even went to my dictionary because I always loved learning the meanings of words when I was younger.
Then I realized what the Lord was trying to show me. If they had persisted in prayer and faith, things could have been different.
Many people do not persist. They give up too quickly. A lot of believers have been taught a kind of faith that behaves almost like magic — a faith without waiting, perseverance, patience, or endurance. But biblical faith is different. True faith contains persistence.
Without persistence, many people stop just before victory comes.
Persistence Is Part of Faith
The journey of spiritual growth requires perseverance. Christian maturity does not happen overnight. God molds His children through experiences, challenges, prayer, waiting, and endurance. To become spiritually mature and strong in the Lord, you must learn how to persist.
Do not give up in prayer. Do not stop believing. Do not stop seeking God. Even when you do not immediately see results, continue trusting Him.
The Word of God teaches us that without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith keeps moving forward. Faith does not look back. Faith continues trusting even during difficult seasons.
God Wants Us to Trust Him
Sometimes God allows us to wait because He wants to teach us how to trust Him more deeply. The more we walk with Him, the more we grow through experience.
God is not powerless. He is faithful.
Persistence develops spiritual strength, endurance, and dependence on Him.
For example, healing, mercy, deliverance, forgiveness, and restoration are clearly part of God’s nature and His will. God is a God of compassion and love. But believers must learn to continue standing in faith and prayer instead of giving up halfway.
Never Let Go of Your Miracle
One of the greatest hindrances to breakthrough is lack of persistence. Many people release their faith too early.
Today, I encourage you to persist in prayer, persist in faith, persist in worship, and persist in thanksgiving. Keep seeking the Lord. Keep praising Him. Keep celebrating His goodness. Put on the full armor of God and remain steadfast.
As long as your heart is focused on God and you seek Him sincerely, He will guide you, strengthen you, and bless you according to His will.
Final Encouragement
Whatever you are believing God for today, do not give up. Hold firmly to God. Continue praying. Continue thanking Him. Continue rejoicing in Him. God hears prayers, and He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
Prayer
May the Lord strengthen your inner man and give you the grace to remain focused on Him. May He remove every distraction and give you the mindset of a warrior in prayer and spiritual warfare.
I pray that the Lord answers your prayers and visits you with His mercy, favor, healing, and deliverance. May every plan of the enemy against your life be broken in the name of Jesus.
May the peace, love, and strength of God rest upon you.

May every evil altar raised against your destiny be consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost. Every wicked altar speaking against your peace, your progress, your marriage, your children, and your future, let the power of God scatter it completely. Every satanic gathering calling your name for evil, let the thunder of God answer them. Every evil voice crying against your breakthrough, be silenced forever in the mighty name of Jesus.
May every blood covenant made knowingly or unknowingly on your behalf be broken by the blood of Jesus Christ. Every evil agreement made by your ancestors that is still speaking against your life, let it lose its power today. Every demonic dedication, every curse passed from generation to generation, every satanic chain connecting your life to suffering and delay, let it break now by fire. May the blood of Jesus speak mercy, freedom, healing, restoration, and victory over your life and household.
Let the fire of God go into the foundation of your life and uproot everything planted by darkness. Every seed of affliction, every hidden bondage, every spirit of failure, stagnation, disappointment, and repeated hardship, be uprooted in the name of Jesus. Every evil plantation causing tears, sickness, confusion, rejection, and backwardness, catch fire now. May God cleanse your foundation and establish you upon His truth, favor, and everlasting peace.
Every evil pattern operating in your lineage, let it be destroyed completely. Every cycle of poverty, untimely death, rising and falling, delay in marriage, disappointment, addiction, and sorrow, break by the power of God. What destroyed others in your family will not destroy you. Every inherited battle assigned to follow your bloodline, let it end with you today. By the power in the name of Jesus, I decree that your life will no longer follow evil patterns in Jesus name.
Every arrow fired against your destiny shall return to the sender. Every arrow of sickness, confusion, fear, failure, depression, frustration, and destruction, be shattered by fire. Any power attacking your sleep, your health, your finances, or your spiritual life, be destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus. Every trap set for your downfall shall fail. Every pit dug for you shall swallow the enemies instead. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue rising against you in judgment shall be condemned.
May the angels of the living God surround you day and night. Let heaven release divine protection over your home, your children, your work, and your journey. Every secret plot of the enemy against your life shall be exposed and destroyed. Every monitoring spirit assigned to track your progress, catch fire now. Every hand stretched against your blessings shall wither. The Lord will preserve you from evil and hide you under the shadow of His wings.
Every enemy of progress in your lineage, let the judgment of God locate them. Every stubborn force refusing to let you go, be scattered by thunder. Every power sitting on your breakthrough, your marriage, your finances, and your destiny, be unseated by fire. Let the voice of the Almighty shake every evil altar to its foundation. Let the fire of God consume every gathering, every incantation, every enchantment, and every satanic manipulation working against your life.
I decree today that every handwriting of the wicked against your destiny is erased by the blood of Jesus. Every evil record speaking against your name in the kingdom of darkness is destroyed forever. You are delivered from every curse, every bondage, and every oppression. The power of God shall go before you and make every crooked path straight in Jesus name.
From today, you shall begin to experience peace on all sides. No more attacks from the enemy. The Lord shall fight for you, defend you, and establish you. Your home shall be covered by the blood of Jesus. Your destiny shall not be buried. Your star shall shine, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
