Sanctification Of The Spirit
It is the Holy Spirit that sanctifies us and makes us holy. He gives us beauty for ashes. He gives us the beauty of faith, love, hope, knowledge, wisdom, power and sound mind and destroys the ashes of unbelief unforgiveness and hatred.
He is the one that enables us to accept and retain thoughts that produce faith, love and hope in our hearts. He is the one that tells us to rejoice because our names are written in heaven. He is the one that reminds us that the blood of Jesus has set us free. He is the one that teaches us to keep meditating on our salvation until the word of God grows in our hearts and we believe with our hearts. Heart faith is what produces true victory.
He reminds us to rejoice in the Lord always and be grateful. He also empowers us to avoid evil and love others. The Holy Spirit also reveals Gods plans and purposes to us and makes us walk in Gods plans – He is the head of the Church and Lord on earth.
He makes us walk in complete obedience to the will of God and breaks every form of stubbornness in our hearts.
We may need to go through Godly sorrow when He is refining, purifying and pruning us but at the end of the day, it will lead to submission, obedience, sanctification and beauty.
