Honorable Conduct
Having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation (1 Peter 2:12 NKJV)
Sometimes, believers relegate good works to the background of their Christian Faith but the Bible clearly tells us that unbelievers can glorify God because of our good works. The fruits of the Holy Spirit manifesting through us can also attract, and draw men towards Christ.
Filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:11
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Philippians 2:13
Unbelievers will take us more seriously if we practice what we preach, after all, the summary of the gospel is to love and forgive others the way Christ loved and forgave us. The gospel is all about believing and obeying. We must believe that the blood of Jesus set us free and we must bear and manifest the fruits of the Holy Spirit which is the good works of Christ through us.

So true. Our own righteousness can’t save us, they are as good as filthy rags. But our righteous deeds can help others to come to saving faith in Christ Jesus. Very apt post.

Amen! The unsaved must see Christ in us through the manifestation of His Holy Spirit the birth forth the fruits of God’s Holy character in/through us. We are the bearers of His vessel that must remain clean by the daily sanctification of the Holy Ghost that leads us to repentance whenever we fall short of his glory. If the fruits of Jesus is not being seen in us by the world than we are not true followers of Christ but of the devil. Blessings & peace.
