Heartbeat

You lifted me up
Like a little child
And gently pressed my ear
Against your solid chest
To hear your glorious heart beat.
I heard sweet tunes
And glorious melodies.
Then I heard the rumbling of a voice
Like many waters proceeding
From the gentle thud of your heartbeat,
Saying,
I love man so much
But man does not know the depth
And richness of my love.
In love I died for man
And in love I am patiently waiting
For man with my arms wide open.
Sons of men, come to me,
celebrate my love for you,
Because you will
Never find another love
Like me – Jesus Christ.

Nice quote
Thank you😊
This is such a good post, Laura. I liked in the poem; you said, “And richness of my love.
In love I died for man
And in love I am patiently waiting
For man with my arms wide open.”
This should give us as Christians the understanding that Christ died for us out of love.
Also, thank you for following my blog. If I may ask; what was it about my blog that made you decide to follow?
Thank you so much for the lovely comment 💕😊🙏. I like the fact that your blog is focused on Bible teaching. It also talks about carrying our cross daily and sacrifice. I really like that because God has been teaching me about true love and there is no true love without sacrifice.
