Embracing Grace

I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain. (Galatians 2:21 NKJV)

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1

Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by eating ceremonial foods, which is of no benefit to those who do so. Hebrews 13:9

Any teaching the distracts and seduces us away from attributing power to the grace of God and depending on the grace of God is anti Christ. It is opposing to the true gospel of God’s grace. Jesus Himself is the grace of God – He is the face and power of God.

There are so many legalistic teachings in this new age which seem like goodly wisdom but actually take people away from the grace of God. The gospel is the gospel of God’s grace. The more we acknowledge God’s grace and depend on it for holiness and fruitfulness, the more successful we will become as Christians. It is the Holy Spirit of God that produces fruits through us. In the natural world, regardless of how fertile a woman is, even if she has billions and billions of eggs, if there is no sperm there will be no conception.

This shows us that woman needs man and man needs woman if they want to have children. Also, no matter how ready a couple is, when there is no power or grace from God for conception, nothing happens or things begin to malfunction. When God closes the womb, it becomes difficult to conceive a child.

The Bible even tells us that God can harden the hearts of persistently stubborn people like Pharaoh. ( The sad truth is that some people cannot be broken or submissive to God. God has given me visions and revelations about this. Another sad truth is that some humans are not real humans – they appear human but are actually spiritual beings that have come into this earth to exalt evil. Such beings can never repent so you so do not have to bother yourself about why they cannot repent! That is a topic for another day.)

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:13

So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Roman 8:6

If we do not submit to and yield to the Holy Spirit, we will not bear much fruit. We need to understand that they are the fruits of the Holy Spirit, not our own fruits. We are just vessels of honor. We are the ones that should cooperate with God through submission and being yielded to Him, His desires and His will.

He is the vine, we are the branches. He prunes us and makes us more productive and we are to abide in Him not in ourselves. The flesh of man is powerless. He is the one that can make us what He wants us to be. It is this humble mindset that is attractive to God. He is so powerful that our acknowledgment of our true nature makes us beautiful in His eyes. Just like a man does not want to marry a man or be with a manly woman with extremely manly traits, God does not want to be married to humans who regard themselves as gods.

But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Galatians 5:22

Your lives will be filled with the truly good qualities which only Jesus Christ can produce, for the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:11

Remember that Pharaoh regraded Himself like a god and his people regarded him as a god. Is that the kind of man that God will tame? A man that does not want to be tamed but who prefers human worship and taking God’s glory and attributing it to himself. Any human who acts like stubborn Pharaoh ends up like stubborn Pharaoh. Even those who later acknowledge God, are dealt with like Nebuchadnezzar. It is only superior power that humiliates human pride. God showed Him just a little bit of His power and He buckled and realized his great folly and mistake.

God wants humans who regard themselves as human. He made us human for a purpose and His grace is manifested and perfected in weakness. His grace is also sufficient for us.

May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Hebrews 13:9, clearly shows us that it is the grace of God, that strenghtens us. It is also the Holy Spirit of grace that increases our hope. If he increases hope, he also increases faith, hope and love. All those wonderful spiritual fruits and virtues that we admire and long for belong to Christ and are produced by Him to the glory of God the Father.

The Holy Spirit of Grace is the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ and Christ is in heaven. We can experience Him, by His Holy Spirit. It is God that tames the flesh. It is God that also tames the tongue. The Bible says that no man has ever been able to tame the tongue. It is only God’s righteousness and grace that produce result – that is why Christ died. He died so that we can partake of His righteousness and grace. It therefore makes no sense for us to keep depending on human legalistic laws and claim to be worshipping God. We are to worship God in Spirit and in truth and never set aside His grace and righteousness for our own self invented grace, righteousness and effort.

May great grace be upon us in Jesus name. May grace, mercy and peace be ours in full measure.
