The Implanted Word

Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. (James 1:21 ESV)

The Bible says that the blood of Jesus saves and here we can see another kind of salvation by the word of God. This means that even though the blood of Jesus has saved us and still saves us, if we reject the word of God that points us towards dependence on the blood of Jesus, praise, thanksgiving, worship, prayer and obedience, our souls will die from lack of faith and nourishment.

The word of God is the water, food and meat that nourishes, builds up and strengthens the soul. Without the word of God, we are finished and faith will become impossible. What do we base faith on? The word of a God.

So it is vital to accept the precious word that saves and transforms the soul.

You were taken

By a vow

And a spirit

That I could not understand

Despite knowing

That we could never

Be together

I loved you

Like my own soul

I inhaled your spirit

Until obsession took over

When I realized the

Danger of obsession

I cut off

And went far away

To another land

Where I would

Never see you

However the scar

Had cut deeply

Into me

And all my dreams

Were about

Me by your graveside

Mourning the loss

Of your presence

The cords of obsession

Fought hard

To resist the resistance

I put up

As I realized that

I did not have the strength

To pull through

Because the more I fought

The more I fell apart

And became physically

Breathless

Because my heart

Refused to obey

My head and logic

I cried out to heaven

And I was saved

By the mercy of God

With one lesson

Etched deeply

On my mind

“Obsession is bad

For the soul,

Reject obsession

At its early stages

Before it sprouts

Horns and tails

And turns into

A destructive

Monster to the soul.”

When you are thirsty

When you are hungry

Touch Him

He will fill you up

When you are broke

When you are afraid

When you are unprotected

When you are sick

He will heal you

And He will become your wall and garment

Touch Him, touch His garment

Because His garment

Is His living presence

He is clothed with power

And wears robes of light!

Touch Him in prayer, faith, worship and praise

Remain at the mountain till you touch Him!

The Miracles of Jesus 1

We notice in the scripture above that Jesus was preaching the gospel and healing. His focus was the gospel, and he healed.

He was not preaching miracles and then healing. He was preaching goodness, righteousness, mercy, justice, liberty and the Kingdom of God, then He also healed.

He was a healer and is the most amazing healer of all time. He still heals by His Holy Spirit.

He can heal you during fellowship in the quietness of your home and He can heal you through an anointed minister.

Jesus is a miracle man. He said, “a little while you will not see me, then you will see me.”

He came back as the Holy Spirit – The same miracle worker except that you can’t see Him and touch Him physically, however,  you can touch Him by your spirit with faith, worship, prayer and obedience.

Jesus is alive, he is right beside you and in you.


Dare to touch Him by constant fellowship and faith and watch the miracle worker unravel before your eyes.

Dare to touch Him in praise, worship and faith , He heals!

Put on your dancing shoes

It’s Saturday night

I am pretty

I am a city girl

In London


I will dance away the night

And drink away my time

A silent voice beckons

My child

I have called you

To greater things

Shun the darkness

Come closer

To heavenly delights

I will favor you

And bless you

Shun the darkness

And come to me
