The Ends Of The Earth

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. (Psalm 2:8 ESV)
You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask (James 4:2 NKJV)
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14 NKJV)
What a wonderful scripture and what a wonderful God. It is very important for us to remember that we must ask. No matter how much we confess and declare we must also ask.
The Bible commands this. Supplication is very important because it is a display of humility and confidence in Him who can do what no man can do.
God Himself has promised to give us the ends of the earth for our inheritance so nothing must hold us back. We must persist and persevere until we experience His grace and mercy.
Paul said, imitate me as I imitate Christ. Paul and Jesus both lived lives of prayer and supplication. If they could not neglect prayer, we also must not.
Prayer is the lifeblood of the Christian life.
