We have never seen Him
Yet we believe
We endure
We persevere
We have never seen Him
However, we will march on

Tenacity

Come Lord Jesus
He gave us life
He washed us

He healed

You will not disappoint me
Suddenly
I was plunged
Into a battle
I did not understand
Suddenly
The sun seemed to disappear
And the moon dimmed
And lost its alluring beauty
Suddenly I could not admire
The stars any more
Or gaze at the clouds
I love so much
From my bedroom
Suddenly my world
Became a battle field
As legions of demons
Roared, bellowed and beckoned
A fierce relentless battle
Enveloped me
A naive, sweet little girl
Suddenly
It was as if the light was
Switched off
And it was complete utter darkness
A darkness that made
Me scream out
To the Lord
That was when I grew wings
And horns
My fingers were taught to fight
And my spirit became very tall
I lost every trace of fear
And was made bold
Like a lion
I was given
A shiny white garment
Studded with beautiful precious gemstones
Beloved
Never, ever fear trials
Because
They lead to promotions
Our faith which is
More precious than gold
Must be tested
By fire
And be purified
May the Lord
Be with us. lead us
Guide, us and counsel us
In times of trials
May we get to the
Mountain of all grace
And taste the sweet love
And fragrance
Of His great glory
Songs of worship
Songs of love
Flowing from my lips
Like sweet cascade
Of flavored water
Ascending to His throne
Lovely Prince
Handsome and pure
Capturing my soul
In waves of delight
As I worship
And glorify
Your beauty
Jesus
Resplendent and Holy
Bless your children
With peace and joy
As they worship you
In relentless praise
Towers and rubies
Glamour and fame
What do I know
Of these
All I know
Is that
This heart of mine
Yearns for pure love
From my prince above

No more addition
To the gospel
We must believe
That he set us free
Forgave us
And cancelled our sins
He also said to me

Will judge those
Who refuse the gospel
On the judgement day.

That was shed on Calvary

Laboring in His vineyard

Everyday I see you
Striving to please Him

At odd hours to pray
You travel around the world
In bitter cold
And terrifying heat
Some have thrown stones at you
Some have spat in your face
Despising you
The way they despise Christ
God haters cannot stand you
But the Lord says
Continue my Child
For you were born to preach
And tell people
About my love, grace and mercy
May all who thirst
For salvation run
Fast into the blood of Jesus
For deliverance
And cleaning
Because Jehovahs heart
Is wide open
To those who are weary and thirsty
Come, come He beckons
Come to me
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24 ESV)
Bearing the unjust
Weight of sin
Terrible and horrible
He suffered alone
With the whole punishment
Of the world upon
Upon His shoulders
He groaned
He moaned
Endured
Persisted
And persisted
It was worth it
Because
By His stripes
And punishment
We are healed
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 ESV)
so that the tested genuineness of your faith – more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire – may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:7 ESV)
Fiery trials
Can be so unexpected
And intimidating
Choking and threatening
Our peace
Fiery trials
Are unpleasant
And unwanted
Because man has
Been programmed
To abhor pain
And difficulties
However
Our faith must be tested
By fire
Because it is
Precious to God
May we always
Persevere and persist
And never give
Up our faith
