I followed you blindly

Like a cold, lost shadow

I thought it was loyalty

I thought it was devotion

I thought it was love

I followed you blindly

I lost my senses

And my dignity

In a relentlessly dark journey

Into the land of Obsession

I lived for you

My magnificent obsession

Until I realized

That I was your slave

Because

You had possessed

My spirit and soul

I lived for you

But not anymore

For I am free

Free to dance

Free to love

In a healthy way

Devoid of obsession

I lived for you

But now

I live for God

For myself

And others

In pure agape love

Stewards Of Grace

Stewards Of Grace

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: (1 Peter 4:10 ESV)

Stewards of grace

Custodians of His light

Ransomed to be

The light of the world

May we never

Disgrace the grace

Of God

Or drive people away from

The light

Because of our actions

May the bride of Christ

Not hurt

Those they should protect

Because of error

God of all grace

Crown us

With the fullness

Of your grace

Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. ” (1 Peter 5:5 ESV)

Humility

Our beautiful and handsome clock

Despised by men

But highly loved by God

In humility Jesus won

In humility Moses was victorious

In humility Paul was

In complete submission

Words cannot tell

Enough about the

Benefits of humility

Who can look down

On you precious virtue

O pretty one

Only the sons of darkness

And the unwise

We will embrace

You humility

Fruit of light

And the foundation

Of Obedience

We will cherish you

The way Jesus did

Because God opposes the proud

But gives grace to

The humble

Pleasing Him

Pleasing Him

finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:10 NKJV)

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. (Ephesians 5:17 NKJV)

Knowing God’s will and how to please Him is the ultimate way to live the life in the Spirit. Without knowledge of what pleases God, we will not know how to worship Him. God sent His son to show us the way to His heart.

If we make it our goal to find out what pleases the Lord, we will know Him. Knowing Him will in turn make us do great exploits for Him.

Power Belongs To God

Power Belongs To God


Must humans crave power. They want to satisfy their  selfish ego and appetite but God Himself is Power.

God is selfless and only uses power to help man so He can never abuse power, however most men can only abuse power.


Power is so intoxicating that it corrupts and pollutes the selfish and greedy.

God does not need to prove Himself to anyone that is why He is the only one that can never misuse power.

It is because power is not foreign to Him and is His nature.  Power belongs to God and looks good on Him because He wears it comfortably.

He is clothed with power.

Let The Word Of God Be Glorified 

The word of God can only be glorified when we constantly exalt it about our own thoughts, ideas and opinions.

We need to make sure we do not add or subtract from the word of God, that is the only way to preserve the potency of His word.

When we dilute the word of God we feed people with poison and poison kills.

The word of God is fresh clean water that refreshes, cleanses and purifies the soul. It makes us grow spiritually and strengthens us spiritually.

When the word of God penetrates deeply into the soul, we begin to bear fruit and manifest the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

It is only by the level of fruits you bear that you can measure your true spiritual growth.

If the fruit of the Holy Spirit is abundant in you, then you are spiritually mature to the extent that God will now empower and anoint you.

So it all starts by abiding in  and cherishing the word of God, that is why we must glorify His word above our own human thoughts.

The word of God is our lamp

And Light,

Our sword, our shield

May we never

Depart from its light.

May we value it more

Than bread, water 

And wine.

Amen.
