Seek the Lord With All Your Heart
Seek the Lord With All Your Heart
Hello, welcome to another message. Today, I’m going to be talking about the scripture that says, “You will find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” It is very important for you to seek the Lord with all your heart. If you do not seek the Lord with all your heart, you are not going to get to that place that God wants you to be.
I found out that with the Lord, He wants all your heart. That is why the Word of God says you shall love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. You need to seek the Lord with all your heart because that is what He wants. Anything less than all your heart is not enough.
When you seek Him with all your heart, realizing that He is the only treasure you truly need, you will find Him. The reason many people have not found the Lord or are finding it difficult to experience His presence is because they are not seeking Him wholeheartedly. They are doing it in a lukewarm manner.
There is something called lukewarmness, and it is very dangerous. Jesus Himself said that He will spit the lukewarm out of His mouth. So determine today not to be a lukewarm Christian because you do not want the Lord to reject you.
Seek the Lord Wholeheartedly
Determine today to seek the Lord with all your heart. I can assure you that if you seek the Lord with all your heart, you will find Him. Jesus Himself sought the Father wholeheartedly, and Paul did the same. You must learn to seek Him with sincerity and hunger.
How do you seek the Lord? You seek Him in the place of prayer. You constantly desire His will, His ways, and His grace. You set aside time to spend with Him in fellowship and communion.
God cherishes communion. He loves fellowship with His children. Sometimes you may think that when you are talking to the Lord He is not hearing you, but He is. Many times, even while thinking quietly, the Lord can speak directly into your thoughts.
Different Forms of Fellowship With God
There are different ways to fellowship with God, and all of them are important.
When you engage in praise and worship, you are in communion with God. That is part of seeking Him and growing in intimacy with Him.
When you thank the Lord, that is fellowship.
When you confess the Scriptures, that is fellowship.
When you declare the promises of God over your life, that is fellowship.
You can confess scriptures like:
“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.”
“The Lord is my Shepherd.”
“By His stripes we are healed.”
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.”
“To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.”
“All these are forms of fellowship and communion with God.”
Learn to incorporate every form of prayer into your spiritual life. Jesus did not practice only one form of prayer. The Bible talks about intercession, petition, praise, worship, thanksgiving, and confession. All of them are important.
Reading the Bible is also fellowship with God.
It is through fellowship that you seek the Lord. And when the presence of God comes upon you, fills you, surrounds you, and you begin to experience His manifest presence, then you have found Him.
You find Him when you hear His voice.
You find Him when you experience His presence.
You find Him when you taste and enjoy the reality of Christ and the reality of the Holy Spirit.
Live a Holy and Reverent Life
You must seek Him with all your heart. You must yearn for Him deeply and surrender everything to Him.
Stay away from sin.
Stay away from immorality and violence.
Sanctify your tongue and dedicate your speech to Christ.
As you continue seeking the Lord this way, you will find Him just as the Word of God says.
The Bible says, “You will find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” Believe that Word and act on it.
Do not have dead faith. The Bible says even demons believe and tremble. They believe in God, yet they are enemies of God because they do not obey Him.
You must not only believe; you must obey.
You should tremble at the Word of God. There was a time the Lord spoke to me and said, “You cannot break the Word of God and get away with it.”
Sometimes people become deceived and think they can live carelessly without consequences, but the Bible says our God is a consuming fire. The Scriptures also say that the Lord will judge His own people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
So learn to respect God.
Have godly fear and reverence for Him.
Respect His Word.
Walk continually in His will and in His ways.
Walking in the Glory of God
As you live this way and continue praying effectively, you will walk in the glory and power of God. You will enjoy the reality of Christ and experience the glories of the world to come.
Once you learn the secret of seeking God with all your heart and walking in His ways, you will become the joyful Christian God wants you to be.
Prayer
I pray that the Lord Himself helps you to constantly seek Him with all your heart.
May you desire the sincere milk of the Word of God.
May the Lord make you complete through the blood of Jesus Christ.
May God give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of His Word.
May the Lord guide you at all times.
May He bless you and let great grace rest upon you.
May grace, mercy, and peace be yours in full measure.
May the Lord be the glory and the lifter of your head.
May the Lord clothe you with humility, light, righteousness, and holiness.
May the Holy Spirit come upon you and fill you afresh.
May you walk in the Spirit and be led by the Spirit.
May you bear all the fruits of the Holy Spirit and operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
May you continually remain awake and alive in Christ.
May you master the art of fellowship and communion with God.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Have a blessed day. Bye.
