People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. Matthew 24 verse 12. Says, Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. These bible verse implies that wickedness will prevail in the end time and this will cause a decrease in love among people. These two bible passages outline the sins expected to increase in the end times, which indeed have become more common in recent years. Nevertheless, this doesn't signify a loss of hope. Remember Jesus has promised to return and triumph over Satan and his dark forces.
