Life To The Body

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:11 NKJV)

Life to the body
Is what we yearn for
Because
We were created to
Be healthy
However
Life comes with shocks
And we watch sickness
And pain
Destroy without mercy

Lord of Mercy
Quicken our mortal bodies
And let life reign
In all being
Heal us
And protect us
From sickness
Let your love
Rule in our lives
And overshadow us
Amen
