30: He gives birth to believers

“I am telling you the truth,” replied Jesus, “that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. John 3:5

A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit. John 3:6

We must be born of water and the Spirit before we can enter the Kingdom of God. Some people are born of water but they are not born of the Holy Spirit. They practice water baptism but do not know the Holy Spirit who is the living water. They also do not know the word of God which flows from the Holy Spirit.

They are not born of the Spirit even though they try their best to imitate Christianity. It is only by the Spirit that a man can be saved, not by religion or religious practices that encourage men to pretend to know God.

Physical water can not save but the living water saves. The Holy Spirit is the living water for the spirit and the word of God is also water for the soul.

Those who are not born of the Spirit and the word of God can not enter the Kingdom of God even if they immerse themselves a million times in the Atlantic Ocean. It is God’s Spirit that gives life. Man’s power and physical created things can’t help at all, rather, physical water and things can only be symbolical but they do not have any power at all.

May we accept the Holy Spirit and His word if we claim to love Jesus and God the Father.
