All Grace

No man can function higher than the level of grace given to him by God.

Grace is in measures and comes from the throne of grace where we receive mercy and find help in time of need. There is a place in Christian living know as All Grace. All grace is what every Christian should strive after. Grace is the most important subject that a Christian needs thorough knowledge of. Why? This is because grace is the summary of our Christian life. We were redeemed by the grace of God, Jesus Christ is the grace of God and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Grace.

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. – John 1:16

The Bible tells us that we are under grace but warns that we must not abuse the grace of God. The Bible also instructs us to grow in the grace of God. The grace of us can fill us, overflow and rest upon us. We can also grow up in the Spirit to a place of all grace

And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. – Acts 4:33

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. – Ephesians 4:7

The only way that we can grow in the grace of God is by constant prayer and communion with God. We must set out time to wait upon the Lord in thanksgiving, praise, worship and petitions with rejoicing and celebration.

God is the father of mercies and lights and every good and perfect present comes from Him. Any Christian that does not wait upon the Lord for increase in grace is indirectly telling God that He does not need grace. He is simply telling God by his actions that He can make it on his own.

Jesus Christ Himself was filled with the grace and the grace of God was upon Him

And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him. – Luke 2:40

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. – John 1:14

Humility is about true knowledge and must precede grace. It is only humility that will make you know your  helplessness and enable you to constantly rely on the Holy Spirit our Helper. If we do not need help, Christ would not have given us a Helper. Grace is what helps us.
