A Vision About the Earth, Love of the World and the Heart God Desires
A Vision About the Earth, Love of the World and the Heart God Desires
Hello, welcome to another message. I am going to share another vision and revelation that I received from the Lord some years ago.
In this vision, I had prayed for about three hours. I still remember the exact prayer that I prayed that day. The prayer went this way:
“Great God Jehovah who saved me, I praise You, I worship You, I thank You. Please come upon me, fill me up and consume all my enemies to ashes, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
I made sure that prayer had confession in it. I acknowledged that God saved me. I praised Him, worshipped Him and thanked Him before presenting my petition.
I prayed that prayer continuously for about three hours. While praying, I was not expecting anything special to happen. Most times when I pray, I am simply focused on seeking God and then the Lord moves however He chooses.
After praying, I suddenly fell into a trance.
In this trance, I saw the Lord come down from heaven. Normally when I see the Lord, He comes down in a cloud. Sometimes the cloud opens and I see Him clearly. Sometimes He stretches out only His hand from the cloud. Other times He speaks from within the cloud.
But in this particular experience, the cloud entered into me. I remember very clearly that it entered through my lower stomach area.
The next thing I knew, I was lifted high into the sky. I found myself standing in the clouds with the Lord. The Lord was beside me like a pillar of cloud and we were both looking down upon the earth.
I remember seeing the London Eye very clearly, so I believe we were above London.
Then the Lord spoke to me and said:
“This is the earth that men are willing to do all sorts of evil just to own.”
When I looked down at the earth, everything appeared filthy to me. Everything looked dark, dingy and spiritually polluted. Normally London is not an ugly place physically, but from that spiritual perspective everything looked corrupted and filthy.
Then I replied to the Lord and said:
“Lord, everything looks so filthy.”
I could not understand why people would commit terrible sins, crimes and acts of wickedness just to possess things in this world.
After that, the Lord showed me other things. I saw children in America who were about to be sacrificed. When I saw it, I began to cry. I noticed that the Lord Himself was not happy. The Lord is not pleased with the evil that happens in this world. He is not pleased with sin, cruelty, wickedness and violence.
When I came out of the vision, I was still crying deeply because of what I had seen.
One major lesson I took away from that experience is that we must not become consumed by material things and worldly desires.
When I looked at the earth from the spiritual realm, everything appeared filthy compared to the glory of God. Yet people are willing to lie, steal, betray, destroy and even kill just to gain things in this passing world.
Some people will commit evil for money. Some for fame. Some for power. Some for relationships. Some for possessions. Some for status. But we must learn to crucify our appetite for the world.
Your love for this world should never make you harm another human being or disobey God.
The Bible tells us to love the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind. If your whole heart belongs to God, then what part remains for the sinful pleasures of this world?
Your heart was made for God.
Your heart is spiritual. Your heart is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Your heart was created to love God and to love people.
That was what the Lord was showing me in that vision. I was seeing the earth from His perspective. He was saying:
“Look at the earth that people are willing to commit evil just to own.”
Everything looked dark and filthy spiritually.
We must pray for grace to become dead to sinful desires and destructive appetites.
Any desire that makes you willing to hurt people, destroy lives or commit evil is not from God. That kind of appetite must die.
As a young believer, the Lord had already begun removing worldly desires from my heart. I remember when I was younger, I wanted to become a nun. I wanted to stay hidden away praying constantly for the salvation of souls.
I did not even realize at the time that God was preparing me for evangelism. I simply loved praying for people and praying for souls to be saved.
Later the Lord told me He did not want me hidden away. He wanted me to preach and speak openly as an evangelist.
The reason I share this is because the Lord had already begun killing worldly appetites in me even as a young believer. It was His grace that transformed my heart.
And that same grace is available to you.
You can pray and ask God to remove destructive desires from your life. Ask Him to help you become dead to sinful pleasures and worldly lusts.
This world is passing away. There is no wisdom in destroying yourself spiritually for temporary things.
Your passion should be for God.
Give God your whole heart. Not ninety-nine percent and then one percent reserved for greed, pride, lust or love of money.
Love the Lord completely.
Walk with Him. Seek Him. Please Him.
That is true faith.
Faith is not merely trying to force blessings from God or manipulate spiritual principles for material gain. True faith is surrendering yourself fully to God and trusting Him completely.
There are dimensions of faith. Great faith is when a person can let go of worldly obsession and embrace God fully.
When you seek the Kingdom of God first and trust Him sincerely, that is great faith.
The Lord has told me many times that what He desires most is love.
Love is the greatest.
That is why the Bible says:
“Faith, hope and love remain, but the greatest of these is love.”
Love is the foundation.
When I was younger and going through difficult spiritual seasons, the Lord would often minister to me and say:
“Love is the answer.”
The Lord continually taught me about love. Even when He instructed me concerning ministry and writing, He kept emphasizing love.
Your heart was made for love.
Love God. Love people.
When genuine love fills your heart, faith becomes easier because your focus shifts away from selfish ambition and becomes centered on pleasing God.
Jesus Himself walked in perfect love and perfect unity with the Father. That is why He moved in such authority and confidence.
When you truly love God, you stop striving so much for earthly things because you trust your Father completely.
Sometimes God will bless you before you even ask because you are already walking closely with Him in relationship.
That is why I encourage you today to focus on relationship with God.
Let love become the highest priority in your life.
Do not allow greed, pride, selfish ambition or worldly lusts to rule your heart.
Seek the Kingdom of God first.
Desire purity. Desire holiness. Desire righteousness.
Let your greatest dream be to please God and walk in His will for your life.
I pray for you today that the Lord cleanses and purifies your heart.
May you hunger and thirst after righteousness.
May your desires align with the desires of God.
May you begin to see things the way God sees them.
May the Lord surround you with His glory, favor and grace.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
