“Some are not pilgrims but pretend to be pilgrims.”

We are pilgrims on a spiritual journey to our promised land of Heaven. There are some people in our midst that are not pilgrims or believers but pretend to be one. Be aware of that.

Be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves. By the direction and power of the Holy Spirit, you can identify false believers and false prophets. Be very careful not to be caught in their nets.

May the Lord Jesus Himself be your shield and protection. May God’s love and mercy surround you always.

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. (Matthew 6:20 ESV)

Fix your eyes on things that are in Heaven. Always look at things from the perspective of the word of God. Remember that this world is temporary, and there is a judgement day and an eternal destination. Do not be distracted, rather, cling to God as you wait for a glorious future in Heaven.
