Ephesians 3:16

“I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner man.”

Hello, welcome to another message titled “Depend on God’s Grace.”

We cannot overcome sin by our own flesh and power. This is one mistake many people make, but as they grow in spiritual maturity, they begin to understand this truth: ability comes from God and God alone.

Every good and perfect gift comes from God. It is not by human strength or effort alone, but by the mercy and grace of God. Therefore, let the Spirit sanctify you completely. Depend on Him. Depend on the Holy Ghost. Depend on His voice, His fire, and His guidance in prayer.

Keep feeding your soul with the Word of God and hide His Word in your heart so that you will not sin against Him. The more you meditate on the Word of God, the more equipped you become to resist sin. Alongside reading the Bible, pray for revelation and understanding. When you combine these things, God strengthens you with power.

We need grace, power, and help from the throne of grace. Jesus is our High Priest who meets all our needs. He is the Life and the Life-Giver. Ask Him to strengthen your inner man and help you overcome sin.

The more grace you receive from the throne of grace, the easier it becomes to walk in victory. There are no shortcuts to true victory. Any doctrine that avoids holiness and obedience is deceptive.

Jesus lived in the perfect will of God, and Paul said:

“Imitate me, as I imitate Christ.”

Throughout both the Old and New Testaments, the great men and women of God made intentional efforts to walk blamelessly before Him. That is the path to lasting victory.

Someone may give you fish without teaching you how to fish, but Jesus wants you to know how to walk in victory for yourself — how to die completely to sin and live for righteousness.

You need more power in your inner man. Pray for strength within. The glory of God in you is meant to increase. God wants to transform you from glory to glory until you are filled with grace and glory.

Growing in Glory

When you became born again, you received the glory of God, but that glory is supposed to increase. Many believers stop growing spiritually because they fail to pursue deeper intimacy with God.

The Holy Spirit Himself does not increase or decrease because He is a Person. However, the glory and life that come through the Holy Spirit into your heart are meant to grow continually.

As sin dies within you, the glory of God in your life increases. The more you carry His presence, the more grace and ability you receive to resist sin and walk in victory.

The Bible says:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7

Victory comes through submission to God first.

Look at the way Jesus lived. Follow His example. Follow the example of Paul and the apostles. That is the sure path to victory.

The Spirit of Grace

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of grace, mercy, truth, and glory. Through Him, God fills us with grace and ability.

2 Corinthians 12:9

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

We need the power of Christ to rest upon us to be effective Christians. Often, we think we can do things on our own, but God’s power is perfected in weakness.

Paul understood his need for God. In Romans 7:23–25, he explained the struggle between the flesh and the spirit. The flesh constantly wars against the spirit.

This flesh works through our emotions and desires. That is why we must discipline our emotions and allow the Word of God and the Spirit of God to guide us.

Emotions are powerful, but if they are not controlled, they can become destructive. We must reject sinful thoughts before they grow into destructive emotions and actions.

Spiritual Weapons

God’s power must rest upon us before we can live victoriously. That is why we need:

Christian growth requires balance. One spiritual discipline alone is not enough. God uses many tools together to strengthen us.

Psalm 28:8

“The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed.”

Ability comes from God.

Jeremiah 31:33

“I will put My law in their inward parts and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

God Himself writes His Word in our hearts as we meditate on Scripture and remain in prayer.

Circumcision of the Heart

Romans 2:29

“Circumcision is of the heart, in the Spirit, and not in the letter.”

The Holy Spirit cuts away sinful desires from within us. He destroys cravings and appetites that pull us away from God’s will.

The narrow path is not easy. That is why we must discipline ourselves and choose obedience over feelings.

The Word of God teaches us not to lust, gossip, or misuse our tongues. Instead of following emotions blindly, we must align our lives with God’s truth.

Sanctification by the Spirit

2 Thessalonians 2:13

“God chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.”

God renews our minds through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

As you continue in this process, you grow into Christian maturity. You become spiritually strong and equipped with the full armor of God.

This means:

Victory is not found in empty spiritual warfare practices without holiness and obedience. True spiritual warfare requires spiritual weapons.

1 Peter 1:2

“Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience.”

Sanctification comes through the Spirit. We cannot purify ourselves by human effort alone.

God gives grace to the humble but resists the proud. We must remain teachable, continually seeking truth and desiring spiritual growth.

Keep praying for more grace. Keep feeding on the sincere milk of the Word of God. Keep seeking God daily.

If you remain patient, obedient, and faithful in God’s way, He will bring you into victory and maturity.

Closing Prayer

May great grace be upon you.
May the Lord establish and perfect you for His glory.
May He strengthen your inner man and help you walk in victory daily.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have a blessed day and remain blessed.

May God bless you with godly destiny relationships, in Jesus name, amen.

DO THEY LOVE YOU—OR DO THEY JUST NEED YOU?

Does someone truly love you if they are with you because they depend on you and need you?

Or do they simply love what you provide?

Those are two very different questions.

How do you know when someone truly loves you—and when you are simply needed, useful, or convenient?

The answer is deeper than most people think.

Love chooses. Dependency needs.

Love values the person. Dependency values the benefit.

Biblical love seeks the good of the other person.

Jesus loved people who could give Him nothing.

Loyalty reveals genuine love.

Mutual dependence is healthy. Codependence is not.

How do you recognize genuine love?

Develop a Deeper Passion for God’s Presence

May God fill you with a deeper passion for His presence.

May the Holy Spirit give you an unquenchable hunger for God.

May God make you a yielded vessel for His glory.

May God fill your cup until it overflows with His presence and power, in Jesus name.

The Holy Spirit wants passion. He wants love. We were created by love and for love. Your heart was created to be filled with the love of God. God’s presence and fire is His love.

God is looking for passionate believers whose greatest pursuit is His presence. God is looking for fervent, passionate lovers of God like Jesus and David.

Become a yielded vessel. Become a man or woman after God’s heart.

Nothing satisfies the human heart like the presence of God. Only the presence of God can make you truly happy and be filled with all the fruits of the Holy Spirit. You can’t live without God and His presence. You cannot be truly happy and fruitful without the presence and fire of God.

God delights in filling hungry hearts with His glory and presence. He wants hunger and passion.

May your heart continually burn with love for Jesus, and may God’s presence become your greatest delight all the days of your life. #prayers

Stop asking, “Do I love them?” Start asking, “Are they God’s perfect will for my life?”

Samson loved Delilah, but Delilah was not God’s perfect will for Samson.

Emotions can be very deceptive, and emotions can die, but a heart dedicated to God’s will sticks by you like that friend that sticks closer than a brother and that brother that is born for adversity.

Find out from the Holy Spirit if they are part of God’s plan and purpose for your life. Be purpose driven. Jesus and Paul were purpose driven.

When you become passionate about your destiny and purpose and making sure you are surrounded by your destiny partners like Jonathan, the apostles, and Joseph the husband of Mary, your relationships become very sweet. They glorify the Lord and please the Holy Spirit.

May God visit you mightily and plant your God ordained destiny relationships and spouses into your life, in Jesus name, amen.
