God’s Power 10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my poweris made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
The more you know your human weakness, and it’s limitations, the more the power of God will be perfected in you. The more you know your own weakness, the more you will depend on, and rely on God.
The more you deny your human weakness and live in some false grandeur, glory and power by attributing power to yourself, the more you will find it hard to experience the power of God.
God does not want to share His glory with anyone – power belongs to God alone, and mercy too. That is the truth and God cannot deceive us into error. Satan, however misleads man into attributing the power that belongs to God, to himself.
May we always recognize the power of God. May we always remember that God’s power is perfected in weakness.
May great grace be upon us, in Jesus name.
