The Spirit of the Lord

Grace, Holy Spirit


The Spirit of the Lord is our ability and strength. He was the one who came upon Jesus and empowered Him. Without Him resting upon us we will be fruitless and weak.

The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. (Isaiah 11:2 NKJV)


We need all the attributes of God and it is only by the Holy Spirit that it can be achieved. If Jesus needed the Spirit of the Lord to rest upon Him in order to complete His mission, then we certainly need Him in order to fulfil destiny.
