The Mayor of New York
Visions, Revelations and Messages
In this vision I heard the Lord say repeatedly, “the Mayor of New York.” Then I thought to myself, ” what is the Lord trying to say? ” and He Replied, ” the Mayor of New York needs to do more about the homeless people on the streets of New York. I am not happy about the homeless people on the streets of New York.”
I was amazed and at the same time touched. The Lord really cares – He cares so much even when we do not know it.
My own thoughts.
God did not install Kings to do whatever they like. He installed Kings to care for the people and love them. He installed kings for the general welfare of the people and also to promote righteousness, equity and justice. Anyone who finds Himself in any sort of public office including Pastors, should realize that they were called to serve and they should try their best to serve well.
The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40
New York is not a poor state so why is it that there are so many homeless people on the streets? God is not happy about this. I make it a point of duty not to judge any one I see begging on the streets of New York and I give them what they ask for. They are the Jesus that we can see.
If Jesus should disguise Himself and sit there on the street, needing help, many so called believers will judge Him and pass Him by and still sing, “pass me not, O gentle savior.” Really. What do we really take Him for – God will not be mocked either in words or action. The truth is that the homeless person is the Jesus that we see. We must all think twice when we act because there is another day for you and me in Paradise.
May we show love to those who need our help without judging them. May great grace be upon us in Jesus name.

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Matthew 25:34 -46

It’s not only the mayor Laura that should be concerned. How many days do I see people walk by starving, cold, homeless people and not even give them as much as an ounce of compassion. Not even as much as a smile would they give. Faces like iron is all they have for them.
You are so right. It is not only the Mayor that should be concerned. It really baffles me how humanity has chosen not to care and have compassion on the homeless. So true, the faces turn to iron on walking past the homeless.
Amen! I love the homeless and I’m always willing to help them in whatever way I can when I really have the money to. I talk to them as normal and share the Gospel of Jesus to them. We don’t know their stories of how they ended up on the street and we shouldn’t despise them nor judge them in an unrighteous way. Lord may we all do more to help the homeless in Jesus name! Amen!!! <3
Amen. May we do more to help the homeless. May the God of all grace fill His Church with love and grace to manifest His love on earth to human beings especially the needy. We are the light and salt of the earth and may our lights never grow dim. May we never loose our saltiness 😊🙏
