God Is Able To Keep You From Stumbling

Untitled-7

Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. (Jude 1:24 – 25 KJV)

God alone is able to keep us from stumbling and make us faultless. If the Bible says He can, then He can, and we need to believe this word or else we make God out to be a liar. Some believers do not believe that we can be blameless or faultless but we can and it is a function of God’s grace not our power. The blood of Jesus already made us perfect, blameless and faultless but we need to grow into the fullness of our inheritance.

Jesus died so that we can die to sin and live for righteousness – complete righteousness. Some people who have gone off balance with the Faith Message love to contradict any message on works, holiness and righteousness but they are misled. Even the proponents of the faith message will tell you that faith works by love and that if you are not in line with God’s will, your faith will not work. I am an avid reader so even when I was very young, I read most of Kenneth Hagin’s books and did a lot of critical analysis, evaluation and reasoning. I noticed so many contradictions in a lot of Christian books and messages so I became cautious.

After a while, I stopped reading Christian Books and focused exclusively on the Scriptures. That was when the Holy Spirit started exposing Scriptures directly to me in line with my calling. Clarity came from focusing on the word of God, the Holy Spirit and prayer. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and He teaches us with the Scripture. If you examine the Scriptures closely, you will notice that both faith and works are very important. Jesus and Paul had both – they never traded one for the other. That is balance.

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Revelation 3:2

So that you may be innocent and pure as God’s perfect children, who live in a world of corrupt and sinful people. You must shine among them like stars lighting up the sky. Philippians 2:15

In the final analysis and conclusion, God loves faith and He also loves works and wants our works to be perfect. He wants our faith to be complete and He also wants our walk, work, obedience and righteousness to be complete. He wants us to put on the whole counsel of the word of God and the complete armor of God. He does not want us to reject or look down on any armor.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Mathew 5:6

He is willing and eager to make us blameless and faultless. All He needs, is our faith in His grace and ability and our dependence on Him. He wants complete and absolute surrender. He also wants passion, hunger and eagerness. He wants us to hunger and thirst for righteousness so that we will be filled with grace.

May grace mercy and peace be ours in full measure.
