The Helper

God created the whole world by His Spirit. Just as your spirit is you, God’s Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit has always existed since the creation of the world. If you go through the whole Old Testament, you will observe that God Himself related to the Israelites through His Holy Spirit. His Holy Spirit would upon the Prophets and enable them to prophesy and do mighty things. That era was very different from this era and dispensation. In the New Covenant era, the Holy Spirit was promised and given to every believer as a gift.

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2

We all have the Holy Spirit, but we are not all filled, fully controlled and fully led by the Holy Spirit. All of us do not have the manifestation of the Holy Spirit or the manifest presence of God, filling our vessels and aura.

In order to please God, we must appreciate the precious gift of the Holy Spirit, living in us and working in us. We must realize that our Christian journey will never be comfortable if we do not acknowledge Him, and His work and ability in and through us.

Some people see their Christian walk as a difficult burden because they have ignored the great one in them. After they ignore Him, they fail to realize their mistakes and subsequently turn to idols and the flesh for help.

The Holy Spirit is our helper and comforter – let Him help you. Acknowledge His place and role and let Him do His work through you. Let Him control you, sanctify you and bear fruits through you. That is His work.

May great grace be upon us in Jesus name. May grace, mercy and peace be ours in full measure.

I remember hearing an old preacher say that Holy Spirit is the white space in Scripture…He is constantly there on each page in the white space behind and around each word and letter…giving Power and Authority to it all. 😁

What a glorious response. Your description is so correct. I remember a long time ago I was given a vision of opening the pages of my Bible and as I was opening, I saw a white dove on each page of the Bible. The white dove is symbolical for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit revealed His word to men and inspired men to write the Scriptures. He is the author of the Bible. He is the giver of the word of God because God does everything by His Spirit. Thank you so much for the contribution to this topic. Blessings 🙏💕
