Vessels Of Light

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5_16 ESV)-2.png

Men cannot see God but they can see other humans and see good works. When we reflect the attributes of God, we glorify God and inspire others to glorify God.

We are vessels of the goodness and grace of God – that is why we were born and redeemed. May we always be channels of that goodness and grace. Beloved, let your lights shine before others.

  1. I just love this verse Laura. Sometimes I forget and try to “bury my talent.” This is a great reminder that God working through you and bearing good fruit is not being prideful. I have struggled with this a lot. I think the key is gratefulness! When we are truly grateful we give God the glory He so rightly deserves and our light just shines to others! Thank you! Keep shining! God Bless!

Amen. Thank you so much for the insightful and inspiring contribution. Most of the time, we forget and bury our talents but this Scripture gently reminds us that we are vessels of grace and light. Our God is faithful and amazing and He who started the good work in us will complete it in Jesus name. Blessings ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ
